Reminds me of a photo I saw shortly after the fall of Baghdad. There were stories in the press about how there was no electricity anywhere and no one felt safe.
The photo was of a street vendor selling satellite dishes...
Seemed to me if people were sitting around in the dark, afraid for their lives, there wouldn’t be much of a market for satellite dishes!

For any voter trying to choose between the two candidates for commander in chief, there is no better test than this: When American strategy in a critical theater was up for grabs, John McCain proposed a highly unpopular and risky path, which he accurately predicted could lead to success. Barack Obama proposed a popular and politically safe route that would have led to an unnecessary and debilitating American defeat at the hands of al Qaeda.

The media is for the most part a bunch of lieing fuck sticks. I was listening to Chris Mathews on his show on TV tonight over on PMSMBC (I can’t think of the name of his show)and I am not sure how anyone can think Mathews is objective and non-biased, its almost like Pelosi and Reid gave him their marching order and talking points. The man is nothing more than an operative of the DNC trying to further his agenda and smear republicans.

In the former Eastern Block countries that were freed from the Communist USSR, they still held on to the “work one, off three” days.  I couldn’t believe it.  The working one was a 24 hour day… We have to understand that other countries are not like us.  When off, they spent time with their families and children.  After ten years, some were moving into our work 5 days, off 2 routine.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler, I was aware of that, thats why I don’t think he is very objective and has an axe to grinde against the right and their politcal ilk. Mathews line of questions are really questionable. The right leaning talk show hosts are called right wing hacks for doing the same thing Mathews does only he never gets called on it.

Well he gets called on it.  The problem is it’s by Rush and conservative Bloggers. 

Of course the MSM doesn’t call him on it because they believe the same things.
