Maybe there is more here than is being reported but on the face of the information, forcing a person to testify seems to be a violation of the 5th amendment.  The incident seems to be s childhood scuffle which in my youth did not warrant police involvement.  Anyway, the whole case seems to hinge on the testimony of the victim and if he refuses to testify the case should be dropped.

You don’t have to be a moron to be a liberal Democrat but it sure helps.

The Mille Lacs band of Ojibwe is up in arms over the handling of this matter.

As well they should be (as well as the rest of society).

The Attorney General’s office is looking into this incident.  I read another article on this incident and it said that the ACLU is looking into this matter and is demanding all the paperwork regarding the boy’s arrest and time in the jail.
