Immunization Obaminization For All Schools Begins Sept. 8th 2009
In a surprise statement today White House press secretary Robert Gibbs praised former President G.W. Bush for his initiation of the “No Child Left Behind” program enacted in January of 2002 with the help and support of Ted Kennedy. He also said that President Obama was committed to the continuing success of the standards based education reform program but added that a few changes would be implemented starting next week with the re-naming of the program.
It will now be known as the “No Child Left Behind ...That Will Be Able To Think For Themselves” program. Robert Gibbs said that the name change coincides with the back to school speech by President Obama and was a chance for students to get “a little encouragement as they start the school year.” Gibbs went on to say “After all if we in the Obama government are going to be in the business of immunizing these kids we might as well be in the business of indoctrinating them. I mean hell, this White House knows what ideology they should and shouldn’t be taught.”

So this is the awesome “Free” health care in Canada. Hmmm…and from a Brit’s point of view no less who states “I can say that Britain’s National Health Service is a monster that we can barely afford.” He’s got first hand perspective of just how sorry this “Free” crap really is…ah but the Chairman told you you’re gonna love it!

What’s the Canadian word for ‘lousy care’?
While I was away, there was a big debate about how Barack Obama might sort out America’s healthcare system, which, say the critics, is chronically awful and fantastically unfair.

It’s also bonkers. I was once denied treatment at a Detroit hospital because the receptionist’s computer refused to acknowledge that the United Kingdom existed. Even though I had a wad of cash, and a wallet full of credit cards, she was prepared to let me explode all over her desk because her stupid software only recognised addresses in the United States.

Some say America should follow Canada’s lead, where private care is effectively banned. But having experienced their procedures while on holiday in Quebec, I really don’t think that’s a good idea at all.

A friend’s 13-year-old son tripped while climbing off a speedboat and ripped his leg open. Things started well. The ambulance arrived promptly, the wound was bandaged and off he went in a big, exciting van.

Now, we are all used to a bit of a wait at the hospital. God knows, I’ve spent enough time in accident and emergency at Oxford’s John Radcliffe over the years, sitting with my sobbing children in a room full of people with swords in their eyes and their feet on back to front. But nothing can prepare you for the yawning chasm of time that passes in Canada before the healthcare system actually does any healthcare.

It didn’t seem desperately busy. One woman had lost her face somehow — probably a bear attack — and one kid appeared to have taken rather too much ecstasy, but there were no more than a dozen people in the waiting room. And no one was gouting arterial blood all over the walls.

After a couple of hours, I asked the receptionist how long it might be before a doctor came. In a Wal-Mart, it’s quite quaint to be served by a fat, gum-chewing teenager who claims not to understand what you’re saying, but in a hospital it’s annoying. Resisting the temptation to explain that the Marquis de Montcalm lost and that it’s time to get over it, I went back to the boy’s cubicle, which he was sharing with a young Muslim couple.

A doctor came in and said to them: “You’ve had a miscarriage,” and then turned to go. Understandably, the poor girl was very upset and asked if the doctor was sure.

“Look, we’ve done a scan and there’s nothing in there,” she said, in perhaps the worst example of a bedside manner I’ve ever seen.

“Is anyone coming to look at my son?” asked my friend politely. “Quoi?” said the haughty doctor, who had suddenly forgotten how to speak English. “Je ne comprends pas.” And with that, she was gone.

At midnight, a young man who had been brought up on a diet of American music, American movies and very obviously American food, arrived to say, in French, that the doctors were changing shift and a new one would be along as soon as possible.

By then, it was one in the morning and my legs were becoming weary. This is because the hospital had no chairs for relatives and friends. It’s not a lack of funds, plainly. Because they had enough money to paint a yellow line on the road nine yards from the front door, beyond which you were able to smoke.

And they also had the cash to employ an army of people to slam the door in your face if you poked your head into the inner sanctum to ask how much longer the wait might be. Sixteen hours is apparently the norm. Unless you want a scan. Then it’s 22 months.

At about 1.30am a doctor arrived. Boy, he was a piece of work. He couldn’t have been more rude if I’d been General Wolfe. He removed the bandages like they were the packaging on a disposable razor, looked at the wound, which was horrific, and said to my friend: “Is it cash or credit card?”

This seemed odd in a country with no private care, but it turns out they charge non-Canadians precisely what they would charge the government if the patient were Céline Dion. The bill was C$300 (about £170).

The doctor vanished, but he hadn’t bothered to reapply the boy’s bandages, which meant the little lad was left with nothing to look at except his own thigh bone. An hour later, the painkillers arrived.

What the doctor was doing in between was going to a desk and sitting down. I watched him do it. He would go into a cubicle, be rude, cause the patient a bit of pain and then sit down again on the hospital’s only chair.

Seven hours after the accident, in a country widely touted to be the safest and best in the world, he applied 16 stitches that couldn’t have been less neat if he’d done them on a battlefield, with twigs. And then the anaesthetist arrived to wake the boy up. In French. This didn’t work, so she went away to sit on the doctor’s chair because he was in another cubicle bring rude and causing pain to someone else.

Now, I appreciate that any doctor who ends up working the night shift at a provincial hospital in Nowheresville is unlikely to be at the top of his game, and you can’t judge a country’s healthcare on his piss-poor performance. And nor should all of Canada be judged on Quebec, which is full of idealistic, language-Nazi lunatics.

But I can say this. If private treatment had been allowed, my friend would have paid for it. He would have received better service and in doing so, allowed Dr Useless to get to the woman with no face or ecstasy boy more quickly. Though I suspect he would have used our absence to spend more time sitting down.

The other thing I can say is that Britain’s National Health Service is a monster that we can barely afford. But in all the times I’ve ever used the big, flawed giant, no one has ever pretended to be French, no one has spent more time swiping my credit card than ordering painkillers and there are many chairs.

With what we know now after all these town hall meetings and about the zeros and morons who supposedly work as our representatives…Why in the hell would we buy into anything they are so eagerly trying to sell to us?

In a presentation on recent discoveries of major marijuana-cultivation operations in Colorado, the U.S. Forest Service said it suspected an international cartel was behind the state’s hidden weed farms. Officials issued a warning that asked forest visitors to look for signs of drug trafficking. The telltale signs according to the officials? Tortilla, Spam and tuna packaging, Tecate beer cans, Latino music and people speaking Spanish.

Officials failed to acknowledge (1) that they were describing roughly a quarter of all campsites in the state and (2) that Spam, tortillas, tuna, Tecate, Latino music and people speaking Spanish are some of the best ingredients you can find when you’re looking to mix up a damn good camping experience.

Yet U.S. Forest Service officer Michael Skinner urged anyone encountering campers who fit the profile to “hike out quickly” and call police.

Polly Baca, co-chairwoman of the Colorado Latino Forum, told the Denver Channel that the Forest Service warning is racist and ill-conceived and threatening.

“It’s discriminatory and it puts Hispanic campers in danger.” Baca said there is no evidence that Hispanics are the only people involved in large-scale drug operations and said she was “appalled that anyone, especially someone from the federal government, would say something like that.”

Marvink Correa, spokesman for the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, said that the next time he goes camping, he would “be sure to play nothing but Bruce Springsteen.”

So was the warning also issued in Spanish?

Lost in much of the TK/ObamaCare hoopla today is the 4th anniversary of a hurricane named Katrina and the massive failure of Government. Not the Government response after the storm but the Government that enslaves people, the one that said “just trust us, we’ll take care of you. Receive your crumbs and remember where they came from at election time.” While living not far away at the time I remember the sentiment shared by many that it was the culture created by the pandering big governance that was mostly to blame for for the human tragedy. People so hooked on government welfare they couldn’t or wouldn’t comprehend the enormity of the coming storm, so they did not leave for fear of not getting that next subsistence check.
That story was never really told as it was way too easy to blame the sitting President G.W. Bush for the after effects.
So today it is a bit ironic that we have people begging the Government to take over control of the nation’s health care and in this op-ed from the New Orleans Times Picayune they are begging for the Chairman to bestow his graciousness and sweetness and more of the same pandering government that certainly co-conspired in their demise. But I guess when you have been the panderee for so long….it’s hard to stop.
For the record I love most of Louisiana and it’s people, just not too fond of the area in question.
You might need a barf bag handy for the Picayune op-ed piece, but take a look at the comment posted by one local after the article that’s referenced at the top.

Dear Mr. President,

Tomorrow we will mark the fourth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, which claimed the lives of more than 1,400 Louisianians and nearly killed a great American city. We will miss having you in our midst.

We know you don’t lack passion for our community and its recovery. Though you haven’t been here as president, as a senator you visited five times after Katrina. We remember well the fervor of your speech at Tulane University on your last visit, a year and a half ago.

“I promise you that when I’m in the White House, I will commit myself every day to keeping up Washington’s end of the bargain, ” you said then. “This will be a priority of my presidency. And I will make it clear to members of my administration that their responsibilities don’t end in places like the 9th Ward; they begin in places like the 9th Ward.”

We await the fulfillment of many of these promises. We are grateful for the federal aid that has flowed our way, including $14.7 billion in improvements to levees and drainage and other storm protection measures. And under your administration, the federal recovery bureaucracy has been eased, as even Republican officials here acknowledge.

But much remains to be done.

The wetlands and barrier islands that are the first defense of Louisiana’s energy coast must be restored if we are to survive long term.

Flood protection on a massive scale, the ultimate rampart the Netherlands saw fit to build, should be our model as well, a vital safeguard against a Category 5 storm and its surge. Such a substantial commitment, you told our reporters last week, “remains a strong goal.” For us and for the nation, it’s a vital necessity.

The economic revitalization of a new medical facility to replace the destroyed Charity Hospital would give New Orleans a shot in the arm it desperately needs. We urge you to see to it that the stalled project moves forward.

Our community is resilient and hard-working. Together with volunteers from around the country, we are striving to make this a better place than it was before the storm, with renovated houses, vastly improved schools and a unique culture that’s as vibrant as ever.

But there’s no substitute for the focus, the energy, the commitment that a president alone can bestow. There’s no substitute for you, as president, seeing our recovery and its halting progress with your own eyes, for taking time to walk in our shoes. So we ask you to bring your considerable intellect, your problem-solving ability, your influence to bear. When a president pays attention, so does the nation.

In the past week, we have hosted several of your Cabinet secretaries. We are grateful for their visits. We were especially impressed with Housing Secretary Shaun Donovan. On this, his third visit since his appointment, he brought his entire senior team with him and committed himself to “building back not just what was there, but building back better and stronger.”

That was music to our ears. But it would be a sweeter sound coming from you and spoken on location.

President Obama:

Some of us realize that you have bigger fish to fry. We realize that you are too busy converting our economic system from capitalism to socialism. We realize that you think profits is a four letter concept. We realize now how you came out of nowhere after a mere 149 days in the US Senate. The real presidents of the United States are the Emanuel brothers and you are just the salesman. No more, no less. You’re just the front man for the cause. They picked the perfect man. Your oratory skills are impeccable.

Ignore us but embrace Chavez. Ignore us but embrace the Castro brothers. Ignore us but call for Honduras to reinstate their corrupt dictator of a president who wants to change the charter. By the way, doesn’t he have some criminal charges pending against him?

Please continue to ignore us. A false sense of security is never advisable to have.

The Katrina disaster proved that government was part of the problem and not part of the solution. It revealed the break down of EVERY level of government from the federal top to the state intermediate to the local bottom. It’s important to know that in the time of dire need, the government bureaucrats will tell Ben Morris of Slidell that equipment can’t go in certain places without first receiving an inspection. Who’s going to do the inspection again? Where? Amazing.

The Katrina event showcased how successful the War on Poverty has been. Thousands of the most dependent souls in this community were stranded. Thousands of souls who were told by the governmet “just trust us, we’ll take care of you. Receive your crumbs and remember where they came from at election time.” Amazingly, the buses that were so prevalent at election time to carry out vote hauling were missing when the poor souls needed them the most. Congratulations.

Well, Mr. President what did you think when you saw those images? Did you like it? Did it make you feel good? That was 40 years of your party’s handiwork on display. The veneer was ripped off the social experiment.

Do you believe in the human soul, Mr. President? What makes it tick? Do you believe in providing it fish or do you believe in teaching it to fish?

Government engineers proved their technical abilities in the levee construction. Government funding proved its faithfulness in providing the appropriate materials for the levee construction. This evolution happened over several years and several administrations, republican and democratic.

Mr. President, this area produces 18% of the nation’s energy. You know that fluid that you put into your cars and planes as you travel to give talks about the nastiness of the necessary substance. Thanks for nothing.

Obama’s 09 deficit exceeds all eight years of Bush red ink

How much is President Obama boosting federal spending? The Heritage Foundation’s Brian Riedl puts a little perspective on the numbers made public today:

· This year, Washington will spend $30,958 per household, tax $17,576 per household, and borrow $13,392 per household. This spending is not just temporary: President Obama would permanently keep annual spending between $5,000 and $8,000 per household higher than it had been under President Bush.
· The 22 percent spending increase projected for 2009 represents the largest government expansion since the 1952 height of the Korean War (adjusted for inflation). Federal spending is up 57 percent since 2001.
· The 2009 budget deficit will be larger than all budget deficits from 2002 through 2007 combined. More than 43 cents of every dollar Washington spends in 2009 will have been borrowed.
· One would expect the post-recession deficit to revert back to the $150 billion to $350 billion budget deficits that were typical before the recession. Instead, by 2019, the President forecasts a $917 billion budget deficit, a public debt of 77 percent of GDP, and annual net interest spending of $774 billion.
· The White House projects $10.6 trillion in new deficits between 2009 and 2019—nearly $80,000 per household in new borrowing.
· None of these estimates include the cost of health reform.
· The White House underestimates future budget deficits by trillions of dollars by (1) assuming that discretionary spending will be frozen to inflation for the next decade, (2) assuming that cap-and-trade revenues will be available to finance a Make Work Pay credit (the House-passed bill allocates those revenues elsewhere), (3) assuming health care reform will be deficit-neutral, and (4) assuming certain tax increases that are unlikely to be enacted.

New Budget Estimates Show Unsustainable Spending and Debt

The new budget spending estimates are alarming and absolutely unsustainable—and are the true cause of these appalling levels of deficit and debt. President Obama has proposed massive tax increases that still cannot keep up with the historic spending increases he has proposed. The result will be highest level of spending—and debt—in American history. Within a decade, Washington would have to spend nearly $800 billion annually just to pay the interest on the national debt.
The White House brags that it will cut the deficit in half by 2013. The President does not mention that the deficit has nearly quadrupled this year. Merely cutting it half from that bloated level would still leave budget deficits twice as high as under President Bush.
In this budget context, the President’s and Congress’s brazen proposals to create a $1 trillion health care entitlement are reckless and unaffordable. Lawmakers should focus on capping federal spending, restraining entitlements, and eliminating wasteful and lower-priority programs.
...None of these estimates include the cost of health care reform. So why are these morons running this country and why are they acting indignant when asked about inacting health care reform at these town hall meetings? They arrogantly and willingly continue ignoring the massive debt this country already has and the amounts rapidly piling up. They have no plan and no intention of stopping the spending. It’s like they’re watching the Disney feel good movie of the week in the house while there’s a nuclear winter outside.
You just have to keep asking yourself….Who are these moron’s and why are they so hell bent on destroying this country?

So it’s only natural that he wants to use the NEA to paint you and me a blue sky.
The National Endowment for the Arts was created by the Congress of the United States and President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965 as “a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts, both new and established; bringing the arts to all Americans; and providing leadership in arts education.” It was never intended to be used by a sitting President to produce propaganda for his “special” agenda but hell, that shouldn’t get in the way of the Chairman of Change.

More than 150 Pages added to the “Cap and Trade” bill during the middle of the night, that once again no one read.
Today Senator Barbara Boxer D-CA announced her contribution to the climate bill from her vacation home in Malibu. “Government is the Only Green Energy Solution - Without Government there is No Hope and there Certainly is No Green” she said calling her new proposal the “wind - wind” situation that should propel the “Cap and Trade” legislation straight through the Senate and insure passage into law.. “We have literally millions of beef and dairy cattle that can be put to work in conjunction with those things that stand on a pole and go around and around producing all the electricity this Nation would need.” she said. “I am convinced that by harnessing the animals methane output and using it to power all those tall things we can reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

“The Cattle Workforce and Wind Investment Act” (CWWIA) was added to the Cap and Trade climate legislation before anyone could read it and therefore no one was able to tell Senator Boxer what a dumb ass idea it was before she made her announcement. An embarrassed staff worker stated, “Well this is the kinda s**t that happens once in awhile when these bills get pushed through so quickly.”

A request is being made for $200 billion to fund the “Cattle Workforce and Wind Investment Act”, for the training of beef and dairy cattle to participate in the “Greening of America” It is the latest addition to the climate legislation the senate will be voting on known as “Cap and Trade”. When asked where these “wind - wind” farms would be located Senator Boxer replied ” I have no idea, I’ll be relying on the scientists to make those decisions.” For his part the Chairman praised Senator Boxer saying ” This is the type of forward thinking I am asking all Americans to do for our future and the future of the planet.”

Emanuel and the White House are attempting to reorganize the delivery and reimbursement systems of health care, changing what the types of procedures doctors rely on, making people more aware of disease prevention, encouraging insurance companies to expand coverage, and so on. It is a process rife with sensitivities, trickeries and, of course, the potential for failure. It is not, he insists, impossible.

“It is a complicated process and we have to try and make the choices clear and give people good reasons for making them,” Emanuel explains. “I don’t think that’s an impossible task and thankfully we have one of the great communicators, Barack Obama, at the helm of this ship of state.”

EPA’s Lisa Jackson Proposes New EPA Green House Gas Regulation for Domestic Pets
“The American Domestic Partner Clean Air Security Act of 2009”
WASHINGTON (AP) In this great country we have millions of dog owners and they all love their pets, I too am a dog lover but the inconvenient truth is that the population of U.S. domestic dogs is contributing greatly to “Climate Change”. The staggering “carbon footprint” from the total U.S. dog population has been destroying the Earth’s atmosphere for quite some time and their combined total GHG “green house gas” emissions are staggering. Sadly the total output of GHG from U. S. dogs alone is larger than all the combined pencil factories in China or to put it another way, all the Dell and HP helpdesks in India. We can no longer ignore or be ambivalent regarding “Climate Change,” Al Gore has proven time and again that the science and research is just too overwhelming to be denied. As Americans we are all charged now with “Saving the Mother Ship…and in this case, one doggy at a time”.
Today the EPA is proud to announce the “American Domestic Partner Clean Air Security Act of 2009” a sweeping proposal to detect and harness domestic pet flatulence here in the U.S. thereby reducing global warming pollution and speeding the transition to a clean energy economy. I am strongly recommending to President Obama that the infamous EPA “Cow Fart Tax” proposal be substantially broadened to include all U.S. domestic household dogs. The catalyst for this legislation will be known simply as the “Bad Lil’ Doggy Emissions Tax” or BLDET. The BLDET tax will be a tier based tax, using income levels and breed criteria to set taxed emission amounts. Some exemptions will be allowed under the plan in the first few years, most notably exempting all union households for obvious reasons. The EPA’s goal for this climate legislation is to reduce GHG by controlling the domestic pet population and ultimately reaching zero domestic pet emissions by 2050. The program will initially begin with only domestic dogs but has built in expansion plans to include all domestic pets by 2020.
The EPA has hammered out some guidelines similar to those recently set forth for the methane producing beef and dairy cattle, sheep and swine industries. 
Some of the highlights of the proposal are as follows:
Ownership of all domestic dogs will require a federal permit, each household will be allowed no more than two permits for indoor and one permit for outdoor dogs. Outdoor permits will be substantially greater due to the increased “doggy” GHG released into the atmosphere. Outdoor habitation of all dogs will be phased out by 2050.  Each individual domestic household dog will need to be identified and tracked for their indoor / outdoor activities therefore all dogs will be required to have RFID chip implants by 2010. All new outdoor dog habitations (pet methane collectors) will be required to have white roofs and be equipped with methane gas busters and collectors. All existing outdoor dog habitations (dog houses) will require retrofitting and certification by 2012.
Other factors and criteria such as dog size and weight, as well as pedigree will also determine the amount of “Bad Lil’ Doggy Emissions Tax” for each dog. There will be tax incentives and credits established for purchasing “green” dog food, spaying, having regular veterinary checkups, the purchase and use of anti-gas medications and all dog owners will be encouraged to purchase indoor doggy potty stations to keep as much GHG inside their homes and out of the atmosphere. One of the ultimate goals of this EPA regulation is to eradicate all outdoor dog habitations by 2050 there by accomplishing a “zero barks, zero gas” policy.
There is no doubt that the average daily cost of dog care will increase dramatically with this climate legislation, however the Obama administration wants to assure the public that they will be ready to provide tax incentives, tax credits, rebates, food stamps along with a plethora of other government assistance checks to offset increases and assist those less fortunate who cannot afford their monthly “Bad Lil’ Doggy Emissions Tax”.
Echoing what the President said last week, regarding “Cap and Trade”, this legislation should also be considered a “jobs bill”. Not only will we be saving the planet by reducing doggy gas but climate engineering is a positive “green” jobs creator. Imagine all the people this will put to work monitoring all those RFID chips, building methane gas busters and new dog houses.
