Gay Rights Leader Quits Homosexuality

Via SFiF we learn:

Prominent gay activist Michael Glatze is now former gay activist Michael Glatze:

Just before leaving, not fully realizing what he was doing, he wrote on his office computer his thoughts, ending with the declaration: “Homosexuality is death, and I choose life.”

On the Importance of Stigma

Fitz gets it right:

Social conservatives stand for the principle that if you stigmatize something your get less of it. If you treat something as ambiguous you’ll get more of it than if you stigmatized it. And if you celebrate and endorse it you’ll get a lot more of it.

Dutch shock over gay AIDS rape gang

Shocked, they say!

A gay gang that allegedly raped victims lured on the Internet, drugged them and infected them with the AIDS virus has shocked the Netherlands and raised questions over its liberal sex culture.

In the most gay-tolerant nation on earth — home of NAMBLA no less — they are shocked (Shocked no less!) that such things could happen!

Here in the U.S.A, they would undoubtably blame such a thing on “institutionalized homophobia”, and the mainstream media would accept it without question.

I’m not sure how they plan to spin this in the Netherlands, where homosexual pedophiles have their own political party.

Finder’s Keepers… Losers, call your F’n lawyer.

In this photo provided by Odyssey Marine Exploration, Ground crew members unload more than 17 tons of silver coins Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at an undisclosed location. The Spanish government said Thursday May 31, 2007 it has filed a lawsuit in a U.S. federal court against the American treasure-hunting firm over a shipwreck the company has found laden with a colonial-era treasure. (AP Photo/Odyssey Marine Exploration, Jonathan Blair)

According to todays silver prices, 17 tons of coin is worth at least 7.5 million dollars.
Spain’s Culture Ministry has called that discovery -- one of the world’s biggest finds of sunken treasure—suspicious and said the booty may have come from a wrecked Spanish galleon

Yeah, no spit Senor Mr. Culture.

And after a couple hundred years of spanish treasure ships being considered “fair game” on the high seas, do you really want to say that you OWN this bullion in a court of law?  This day and age, I’d bet on the mexican and south american lawyers to have a far better claim to the proceeds of south american gold & silver… except for the obvious fact that EVERYONE seems to have left it lying on the bottom of the sea for a few centuries, with only the crabs to guard it…

Effin lawyers… lets make them all walk the plank and we’ll just split the booty, eh matey?

Either that, or we’ll just run em up the sword and take what we want.  Right, hombres? Like we did back in the good ole days? Santiago!

America was founded by Sodomites?

Elizabeth Marquardt at FamilyScholarsBlog reports:

[emphasis my own]

Letter to the New Yorker from famous AIDS activist Larry Kramer (Apr 16, 2007 edition, ltr not online).

“Jill Lepore, in her piece regarding Jamestown as it approaches its four-hundredth anniversary, writes, ‘It is a story of some lessons painfully learned, and others not learned at all.’ (”Our Town,” April 2nd). To that statement I would add, ‘and the most important lesson of all hardly recognized to this day.’ In his book, “Sexual Revolution in Early America,” Richard Godbeer, a professor at the University of Miami, writes, ‘Jamestown was initially an all-male settlement…Male colonists outnumbered women by roughly six to one in the 1620s and by four to one in later decades…It is difficult to believe that a group of young and notoriously unbridled men remained celibate for an extended period of time. It seems likely that some male settlers deprived of female companionship would have turned to each other instead…[and] reasonable to assume that much of the sex…was sodomitical.’ My research for my own work-in-progress, “The American People: A History,” has revealed not only that male-only partnerships were quite in evidence but that services were often conducted to join the partners ‘under God’ and, of equal interest, that they adopted Indian children to raise as their own. I hope it will not be long before scholars will acknowledge that Jamestown was in fact not only America’s first colony but also its first homosexual community.

Rutgers team: We accept Imus apology — IF it’s signed in blood

Cute how yahoo news reports:

Rutgers team: We accept Imus apology

only after they’ve received his head on a platter.

Gee ladies, thanks a ton for your magnanimous display of tolerance!

Give us a call whenever you demand a black man’s head, for calling you bitches and a buncha nappy headed ho’s…

My Daddy’s name is Mommy

Scientists in the U.K are seeking ethical permission to produce synthetic sperm cells from a woman’s bone marrow tissue, so that lesbian couples can create biological children without the requirement of male involvement.

MarriageDebate.com reports:

“Women might soon be able to produce sperm in a development that could allow lesbian couples to have their own biological daughters, according to a pioneering study published today.

Scientists are seeking ethical permission to produce synthetic sperm cells from a woman’s bone marrow tissue after showing that it possible to produce rudimentary sperm cells from male bone-marrow tissue.

The researchers said they had already produced early sperm cells from bone-marrow tissue taken from men.

Somehow, this new form of “gender equality” where women have the power to create children without the input or consent of a father—not to mention the power to kill those children without the input or consent of the father, leaves me—as a man—feeling somewhat less than “equal”.

A Captive Audience

A couple of stories caught my attention tonight.  Is there a connection?  You be the judge…
1.  U.S. schools weigh extending their hours

2.  U.S. court upholds same-sex teaching to children

Nevermind the fact that my children do less than 5 hours per day of schoolwork (homeschool), yet test far above grade level.  Meanwhile most public schooled kids spend nearly 8 hours—and often more—yet on average, test below grade level.

No, none of that is important.  What is important is that the children of parents who cannot afford to homeschool must be taught that separate IS equal, when it comes to gender bias.  They must learn that two moms (and no father) or two dads (and no mother) are perfectly equal to a mother and a father.  And if your little brats have to stay late after school to get that through their thick little skulls, then so be it.

Update: Is there a connection? Honest -- I didn't notice until after I had posted this the most obvious connection: Boston Massachusetts. Ground Zero for the Gay Agenda.

College Professors busted for gay shenanigans in Atlanta Airport

And no one is talking about it.

No one but Mike Adams, it seems:
It should come as no surprise that a men’s restroom at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has become a playground for those who want to masturbate in public and have sex with men they don’t even know. After all, Atlanta is a hotbed of homosexual activity and public restrooms are favorite gathering places of many homosexuals.

But some may be surprised that, since December, police officers have arrested and charged 11 men with public indecency in the Atlanta airport. That is because there has been little talk about the arrests. And that, in turn, may have something to do with the fact that “Dirty Nearly Dozen” includes University of North Carolina Professor Dr. Hugh Tilson and Spelman College Professor Lev T. Mills.

Nevermind that Professor Tilson is a Professor of Public Health, not to mention a very old white man who surely knows better.

Yeah yeah, I know—I’m just being judgemental again.  Wanking with strangers in a public restroom is a civil right, donchaknow!

Separatism is in, Diversity is out.

From the U.K. thought police, more proof that separate IS equal and anyone who disagrees is less than equal:

“One in every 20 children adopted from care goes to live with a gay couple, official figures revealed yesterday.

...

In some towns where councils are most sympathetic to the gay rights cause, the likelihood of a child in care being adopted by a same sex couple is as high as one in five.

...

Advice from the councils’ umbrella body, the Local Government Association, has praised authorities that encourage gay adoption and instructed social workers to strike off from their list of potential adoptive parents anybody who disagrees with gay adoption...”

So let me get this straight:

Couples who are medically infertile are not to be allowed to adopt if they feel that couples who are merely socially infertile belong at the end of the line.

Furthermore, anyone who believes that diversity trumps sameness—that separate is NEVER equal—are to be discriminated against by those who advocate for gender bias and sexist bigotry.

Tammy Bruce was right.

Boudreaux in Hell

Boudreaux died and was on his way down to Hell.

In anticipation, the Devil turned up the thermostat to make it extra warm for Boudreaux. When Boudreaux arrived, the Devil asked, “Hey Boudreaux, how do you like the heat down here?”

Boudreaux says, “Mais, it’s just fine. It reminds me of Bayou PonPon in July.”

That made the Devil mad. That night, he turned the thermostat up all the way it could go. Man it was hot! When Boudreaux woke up, the Devil asked him, “NOW how do you like it down here?”

Boudreaux says, “Mais, it’s fine. It reminds me of August on Bayou Lafourche.”

As you might expect, that made the Devil all the more mad. Well, that night, he turned the thermostat down all the way it could go! The whole place frosted over. Icicles started forming from the rafters. When Boudreaux woke up, the Devil asked him, “How you like it NOW, Boudreaux?”

Boudreaux, shivering, through blue lips, says, “Mais cher, I’m one happy Cajun!”

The Devil was infuriated! He yelled, “What do you mean you’re one happy Cajun?!!”

Boudreaux, still shivering says, “The Saints done won the Superbowl.”

The Intolerance of ‘Tolerance’

I’ve often said:

Tolerance means having a thick skin, not a dull wit.

In a nutshell, this means that it is the one who feels ‘attacked’ that needs to display tolerance, not the person whose words might be painful to some ears.  Like liberals always tell me about the television—if you don’t like it, don’t watch it.  [Which is fine actually, except if i’m paying for it anyway.  Which is why I don’t have cable TV—but i digress]

Being tolerant means you get to call me an ignorant right-wing homophobic nut-job, and I don’t get all worked up about it.  Being intolerant means if i call you a pinko-commie-fag, you try to get me fired from my job.

But I’m a small-time blogger these days.  For a real discussion of the Intolerance of Tolerance, please read the outstanding peice by Greg Koukl over at Town Hall.

Most of what passes for tolerance today is nothing more than intellectual cowardice, a fear of intelligent engagement. Those who brandish the word “intolerant” are unwilling to be challenged by other views or grapple with contrary opinions, or even to consider them. It’s easier to hurl an insult—“you intolerant bigot”—than to confront an idea and either refute it or be changed by it. In the modern era, “tolerance” has become intolerance.

It’s really so very good—I had a hard time choosing a quote.  There are just too many great ideas expressed in this comprehensive discussion.

Read it all?
