Advocates of neutered marriage will insist, repeatedly, that two moms are equal to two dads are equal to “mom & dad”.

However the progressive new Birth Certificate Policy in New York City disagrees:

Married lesbian couples in New York City can now be listed as parents on birth certificates as soon as their children are born.

Before, the women would have to go through an adoption process to be listed as the official parents.

The city Board of Health voted Tuesday to make the change.

The state made a similar move in December, after a court ruling and a directive from Gov. David Paterson ordered state agencies to respect out-of-state gay marriages.

The city says married male couples still will need to adopt their children in order to be officially declared their parents.

When it comes to reproductive rights, women have rights—men only have responsibility.

Something to consider the next time your average neutered marriage advocate argues until he’s blue in the face that separate actually IS equal.

I did something I rarely do this morning—I turned on the TV.  I don’t even have cable, but what did I find?

At 7:30am, all 3 of the major network morning shows — the Early Show, Good Morning America, and the Today Show — were running “exclusive” expose’s on “High Priced Call Girls”.  These were not stories about the Gov. Spitzer scandal — they were special interest pieces describing the glamorous and wealthy lifestyles of overpaid whores.

I question the need for any one of these networks to show this kind of a story at 7:30am — but the fact that all three of them did so at exactly the same time of day reveals something far more insidious.

It’s only a question of when, not if, I yank the TV out of the wall and throw it through my window…

For many months, it has become harder and harder to use the world’s most popular web browser to access SayAnythingBlog.com, but this month it has officially become impossible.

If this was due to some conscious effort by religious geeks who despise all things MicroSoft, I could understand it and even forgive them for their principled bigotry.

But for this to happen through sheer carelessness and apathy—on an advertiser supported website no less—just doesn’t make very much sense.

I suppose I’ll soon be joining the many thousands of others who never visit this website.  Pity…

Disclaimer: I have Firefox of course—I primarily use it for testing and debugging.  Cross-browser support is important to me, and something I am paid very well to achieve, thank you very much. My prediction, and the reason I oppose Same-sex marriage:

“SSM will mean that more children, not fewer, will grow up never knowing their own father”

has been proven true:

(Boston, Massachusetts) Since the legalization of same-sex marriage in Massachusetts there has been a marked increase in the number of gay couples seeking assisted reproduction a medical center specializing in in vitro fertilization said Friday.

“Each year we’re seeing an annual increase of about 50 percent in the number of same-sex couples coming to us for IVF to have their children and build their families,” said Dr. Samuel Pang, Medical Director of Reproductive Science Center of New England.

Depriving a child of a father of their own, for no better reason than your own bias against men, is a cruel and unusual thing to do to a kid.

Sigh… more “re-inventing the family”...

The Nassau County man donated his sperm to a work colleague, and included his name on the child’s birth certificate, saying it would give the boy an identity, courts documents revealed.

A woman who became pregnant after a one-night stand has been given the right to keep the birth a secret from the father.

The Court of Appeal ruling came after a county court ordered the 20-year-old to tell both her parents and the father.

The three appeal judges agreed “the ultimate veto” over who is told about the birth lay with the mother.

You’re only a father when she says you’re a father.  Otherwise, you’re just a sperm donor.

Reproductive “choice” for men begins and ends at penetration.

And the republicans will let her.

Now remember that it wasn’t the war hawks, or the economic conservatives who handed Bush both of his narrow victories—it was the nearly total support of the “Values Voter”.

I look around me and I see only one republican candidate paying any attention to this critical constitutency—Mitt Romney—the Mormon who has a slightly larger chance of being elected than a Scientologist.  His religion is a blessing and a curse—he has all the right positions, if only he were a Baptist or a Catholic… or.. the calm and moderate Methodist that Hillary is suddenly becoming…

What, like social conservatives like me are supposed to support a pro-abortion, pro-ssm, and pro-adultery guy like Rudy?  I’d just as soon stay home.

Hillary is a shoe-in if the republicans continue to ignore the values voter. 

You gotta dance with the one that brung ya.

Just remember—he was for the marriage ammendment before he was against it.  Or something like that:

Look at all the candidates who now have the same position on gay marriage: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani and now Fred Thompson. They all say ... they are against gay marriage.

Mitt Romney, amazingly, is now the ONLY major GOP candidate who supports putting these [activist] judges in their place with a federal marriage amendment.

Just what we needed to spice up this election season—another activist judge who knows better than the rest of us:

The ruling by Judge Robert Hanson concluded that the state’s prohibition on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional and he ordered Polk County Recorder Tim Brien to issue marriage licenses to several gay couples.

Republicans just love it when they are handed a “wedge issue” on a silver platter…

Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government’s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age.  Two 40-page booklets entitled “Love, Body and Playing Doctor” by the German Federal Health Education Center are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

“Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex,” reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds.  The authors rationalize, “The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same.”

Looks like NAMBLA has hit the mainstream…
