VOTE FOR MIKE HUCKABEE in 2012

Is our enconomy really in the tank?  Where does Main Street meet Wall Street??

Every where I read, in a number of different communities, I am hearing records sales were made on the day after Thanksgiving.

Is our MSM willing a recession/depression upon our country?

Was our financial community trading on stocks inflated by optimism?  Maybe there was a correction needed to keep everyone honest or at least teach the traders to respect the ways of a bullish market.

Knowing the pressure put on lending institutions to make loans to questionable borrowers, this should have been caught before it was to late in the foreclosure scheme the Libs dreamed up to blame Bush for a failed economy.

This caused instability in the market with wild swings in the market place.

Pressure put on the market by global use of energy we were use to having to ourselves, kicked in the misunderstood law of economics, the law of supply and demand, causing the price of energy across the board to skyrocket.

The world economy was rolling along with a momentum everyone thought would be impossible to stop until some of the irresponsible people who are not capable of being a reliable home owners, started to miss there mortgage payment.

Infrastructures have not been updated to keep up with the ever increasing demand on energy.  The reason for this is the impossible hoops the EPA and other special interest groups are putting in the way of oil companies and power companies.  Now we are running our existing facilities at 95 to 110% of their capacities and when there is a natural disaster this is why the market fluctuates so drastically.

Our MSM would never ever report on anything contrary to the agenda of the libs , would they?

With this all happening to our economy, this set up the perfect storm of foreclosures, falling stock market and failing banks.

Where does this give our congress the idea that pouring good money after bad is going to save the economy.  On Main Street, if we don’t make our payments and keep current with our mortgages and payrolls, our businesses fail.  So why should big business be any different?  This “bailing out” is interfering with the natural progression of business as the good and profitable business lives on and is able to re-invest in itself.  Failing businesses get bought out by the competition or just go away making room for a healthier business climate.

I have made a conclusion that before the election, when Obama was leading in the polls the stock market was plummeting, and when McCain was leading or close to a dead heat, the market would settle down. Did MSM report on this? Hmm, maybe a coincidence.

My questions about the Fairness Doctrine.

Doesn’t the taxpayers subsidize National Public Radio?

Isn’t it true NPR has mostly liberal chit-chat on their air waves along with artsy stuff and feminist complaining how badly they are victimized?

If the taxpayers are subsidizing NPR, shouldn’t they be fair and balanced in what they broadcast?

Is the Democratic Party forbid to have advertisement sponsored radio programs?

Does the right wing radio talk show hosts have a patent or copyright on who can broadcast on private sponsored radio?

Would it not be fair if the liberals arranged for sponsorship and rounded up an audience to proclaim their propaganda?

Is it they cannot retain enough of a following to pay the bills?

Maybe some of your readers can answer some of these questions for me so I can under stand what is so unfair about how America chooses their method of receiving news and entertainment.

Al Franken has not passed the ethics test.  The verdict is still out.

This is why Al Franken should lose to Norm Coleman

I cannot believe this great state has stooped so low as to even nominate one who made jokes about rape or wrote for Playboy.

Al Franken is a snake poisoning our poor democrats of Minnesota with lies and making our present administration look bad.  I cannot believe our Minnesota citizens are so gullible.
Al Franken is all about lies.  He is tainting our school systems with lies about the lack of federal funding for “No Child Left Behind”.  Here is the proof he is lying and making a riff among educators.  He claimed the “No Child Left Behind” law was a mandate initiated without funding. In 1994 the Clintons spent almost $27 billion on education. At the end of the Clinton Administration they spent $39 billion and in 2006, the Bush administration spent a whopping $66 billion.  The last time I learned math, 39 billion is a lot less than “<” $66 billion.

Al Franken claims Bush lied about Weapon of Mass Destruction.  Did all of these people you know also lie?
PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON: “[M]ark my words, [Saddam Hussein] will develop weapons of mass destruction. He will deploy them, and he will use them.” (Remarks At The White House, 12/16/98)
PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON: “In the next century, the community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now – a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists, drug traffickers, or organized criminals who travel the world among us unnoticed. And some day, some way, I guarantee you he’ll use the arsenal. And I think every one of you who has really worked on this for any length of time, believes that, too. There is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. His regime threatens the safety of his people, the stability of his region and the security of all the rest of us”. (Remarks At The Pentagon, 2/17/98)
MADELEINE ALBRIGHT, SECRETARY OF STATE, CLINTON ADMINISTRATION:  “In discussing Iraq, we begin by knowing that Saddam Hussein, unlike any other leader, has used weapons of mass destruction even against his own people.” (CNN’s “Showdown With Iraq: International Town Meeting,” 2/18/98)
SEN. JOHN KERRY (D-MA): “If you don’t believe ... Saddam Hussein is a threat with nuclear weapons, then you shouldn’t vote for me.” (Ronald Brownstein, “On Iraq, Kerry Appears Either Torn Or Shrewd,” Los Angeles Times, 1/31/03)
SEN. JAY ROCKEFELLER (D-WV): “I do believe that Iraq poses an imminent threat, but I also believe that after September 11th that question is increasingly outdated.” (Congressional Record, 10/10/02)
SEN. HILLARY CLINTON (D-NY): “In the four years since the inspectors, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. … It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capability to wage biological and chemical warfare and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.” (Congressional Record, 10/10/02)
REP. NANCY PELOSI (D-CA): “Saddam Hussein certainly has chemical and biological weapons. There’s no question about that.” (NBC, “Meet the Press,” 11/17/02)
SEN. CHARLES SCHUMER (D-NY): “[It] is Hussein’s vigorous pursuit of biological, chemical and nuclear weapons, and his present and 10 potential future support for terrorist acts and organizations, that make him a terrible danger to the people to the United States.” (Congressional Record, 10/10/02)
HOWARD DEAN, CURRENT DNC CHAIR, FORMER GOVERNOR OF VERMONT: “There are such a thing as international outlaws. I’m not sure if China is one, but I’m quite sure Iran and Iraq are.” (CBC/PBS, “The Editors,” 1/31/98)
SEN. TOM DASCHLE (FORMER D-SD): “Iraq is not the only nation in the world to possess weapons of mass destruction, but it is the only nation with a leader who has used them against his own people. It is essential that a dictator like Saddam not be allowed to evade international strictures and wield frightening weapons of mass destruction.” (Congressional Record, 2/12/98)
SEN. HARRY REID (D-NV): “We had to attack. [President Clinton] had to do what his military advisors told him he should do ... Now is not the time for second-guessing or partisan finger-pointing. National security concerns must come first ... [Saddam Hussein] is too dangerous of a man to be given carte blanche with weapons of mass destruction.” (From Brendan Riley, “Nevada Leaders React To Iraq Bombing,” Associated Press, 12/26/98)
SEN. JOHN EDWARDS (FORMER D-NC): “Serving on the Intelligence Committee and seeing day after day, week after week, briefings on Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction and his plans on using those weapons, he cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons, it’s just that simple. The whole world changes if Saddam ever has nuclear weapons.” (MSNBC, “Buchanan And Press,” 1/7/03)
SEN. PATRICK LEAHY (D-VT): “I have no doubt Saddam Hussein is lying. He has lied countless times before. He is likely hiding weapons, including chemical and biological weapons. The U.N. Inspectors’ Report leaves little doubt of that.” (Congressional Record, 1/30/03, p. S1782)
Now these people claimed they were misled by poor intel.  Come on people they had the same intel the President had.
Anti-Christian Bigotry?
As Franken tells it:
“Do you know what God’s punishment is for liars?” [the minister] asked me ... “God’s punishment for liars is that they believe their own lies.”
I thought it would be a great ending for this book ...
So I asked God where exactly in the Bible he said that. God told me that the Methodist minister had had his head up his ass. It doesn’t say that in the Bible.  The Bible does say, “... and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved. Therefore, God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe this lie.”
Franken later says,
“I guess it was God who had his head up his ass.”
Nice, eh? And the Democratic Party wonders why most reverent Christians have roundly rejected their platform in recent years. With a prominent Democratic voice like Franken spewing sacrilegious lines like this, it’s no wonder.
Franken is a proponent of forced abortions
We need a leader in our Senate who can lead and not follow.  One who can be original in his thinking and not be persuaded by partisan rhetoric and popularity polls.  Minnesota has unique issues, unique to only Minnesota. We need a leader who can go and communicate to the other legislators in Washington what is good for Minnesota is good for the rest of the nation.  He needs to be able to review all legislation being acted on is in the best interest of Minnesota.  Can Al Franken do this?  No way, Al Franken is running for the senate as a joke to start with and found out he had a chance of winning and then he has gotten serious.  Al Franken has one thing on his agenda and this is to improve his portfolio and do what will only be good for Al Franken.  We do not need a leader who lies about others to make himself look less like a snake.  He has no conscience and no sense for knowing what is right from wrong.  Do we truly want a man with a past record of being dishonest representing us in Washington?  Or are we in Minnesota lacking comedy so much we are willing to employ this clown as our Senator for Minnesota?

My thoughts on Tuesday’s U.S. presidential vote outcome

For those who have a conscience, Today is a dark day. The devil is at work and America needs to wake up and quit voting with emotion and use their head and ask what are the ramifications of this decision? Unborn & newly children will continue to be slaughtered. Taxes will creep up as the left will try to justify each increase. Organized crime will get a free pass. The EPA will keep the progress of technologies in the closet and run fear in the ignorant public about how coal is so bad for the environment while our energy costs will skyrocket.
Schools will continue to brainwash our future citizens to abide by a liberal agenda.
Obama has promised the world to everyone and will not be able to deliver. He told of how he was pro coal mining and how this will lesson our reliance on foreign oil, and on the other side of the country he told people in San Francisco how he would bankrupt the coal industry if it decides to build more coal using facilities. So what is it Barrack???

We have just voted to surrender to the terrorists who brought our country to it knees 7 years ago. Oh how short our memories are. I am still mad about that and we need to finish that war and leave there with pride instead of pulling out and telling our troop their efforts were wasted.
I would like to be able to give freely to the charities of my choice rather than being mandated through increased taxes to provide relief to able bodied lazy people refusing to work. I am not wealthy but I have worked for everything I have. This builds pride and if we follow Obama’s idea of sharing wealth, which will create apathy, people will soon think they are entitled.

I could go on and on but I am sure someone else will take on where I Left off.
But remember we are still living it the greatest nation in the world and I trust we can endure this too.
