Hillary is Keeping Race and Gender Out of Politics

“This is the most exciting election we’ve had in such a long time because you have an African-America, an extraordinary man, a person of tremendous talents and abilities running to become our president. You have a woman running to break the highest and hardest glass ceiling. I don’t think either of us want to inject race or gender into his campaign.” - Hillary on Meet the Press

She’s right. Neither one of them do. They both do.

Today the Light Bulb. Tomorrow the ,,,,

There have been a number of articles about this the last few days. Here is one - Big Brother

California legislators want to install non-removable FM receivers in just about everything in your home so they can turn them on and off at their will. Their excuse is that they need to reduce energy usage.

Developing technology that uses less money and saves you money is a great idea but, the technology should be driven through competition as consumers flock to energy saving devices.

What we need to continue our advance as a society is more abundant, cheaper energy from better, cleaner sources. This will be driven by consumer demand. If energy companies see an opportunity to make more money by selling more energy developed from less expensive resources, they will respond. They will respond faster if more energy companies are offering better, lower priced products.

Imposing the reduction of energy usage on Americans through legislation is the socialization of our energy resources and will result in technological stagnation. It is what caused the collapse of the Soviet Union. In other words, these guys are commies. Whether they are Democrats or Republicans, we need to get them out of office.

Kudos to Rob

I would like to congratulate Rob on his contribution to fairness and free speech in his blog.

Name calling and personal insults aside, Rob lets everyone have their say. It’s a very hard thing to allow yourself to be constantly attacked personally and shows a strength in character and tolerance that is supposed to be prevalent but is often lacking in a free society.

Kudos.
