CAMARILLO, Calif. – She was terrified, clinging to God, when a brutal street gang spied her escaping down the streets of Nicaragua.

“Let’s kill her!” one shouted.

Two strange men suddenly clenched her arms and ripped her blouse as she struggled to free herself. They warned her not to scream while they prepared to rape her.

She spotted woods nearby – and had a vision of her lifeless body being dumped just yards away after enduring torment of a brutal sexual attack.

Auxiliadora Martinez, 23, a Nicaraguan political refugee, was beaten with sticks, shot at, nearly raped and almost murdered – all because she fought for free elections.

Now, the U.S. is prepared to deny her asylum in the land of the free.

Martinez, a campaign organizer for Eduardo Montealegre, former Constitutionalist Party candidate for Managua mayor, has been tortured by Nicaragua’s Sandinista regime and is pleading with the United States for asylum, but American immigration officials have shown her little sympathy.

Martinez came to the United States in December to seek asylum. She is terrified that if she returns to Nicaragua, the Sandinistas will recognize and harm her. Her mother and sisters fled to Guatemala.

Martinez was given a hearing with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. She waited three hours to tell her story. Martinez offered several original photographs, her testimony, media reports, film footage and her campaign ID, but she said officials failed to express interest in her evidence.

“Honestly, it was the first time in my life that I was in the judgment seat,” she said. “For me, it was very hard.”

On March 17, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services sent her a notice of intent to deny her request for asylum. The letter, signed by George S. Mihalko, director of the Los Angeles asylum office, stated that her testimony “was found not credible,” because it was “vague and incoherent” concerning her activities with “Vamos con Eduardo.”

The agency’s note included puzzling statements such as, “You were unable to provide any other reasons why Eduardo would want to harm you.”

Ortega should have been assassinated by the CIA when Reagan was POTUS! This short, egomaniacal imitation of Hugo Chavez is still tormenting, torturing and killing anyone that opposes his Paramilitary Rule in Nicaragua.

A lawsuit has been filed against Eastern Michigan University, accusing the school of tossing a student out of a graduate counseling program because she refused to endorse homosexuality as morally good.

Julea Ward filed suit after she was dismissed from the school’s counseling training for not affirming homosexuality and then refusing to recant her beliefs in “disciplinary proceedings,” according to the Alliance Defense Fund Center for Academic Freedom.

WND called president Susan W. Martin’s office for comment and was referred to a media relations office, where officials did not respond.

But David French, senior counsel for the ADF, said, “When a public university has a prerequisite of affirming homosexual behavior as morally good in order to obtain a degree, the school is stepping over the legal line.”

Ward was dismissed from the program March 12, and the dean of the college of education affirmed the decision on March 26, according to the ADF.

“Julea has a constitutional right not to be compelled to speak a message she disagrees with. She acted as a professional counselor should – with great concern both for her beliefs and the client,” ADF legal counsel Jeremy Tedesco explained.

Homosexual activists started with “accept our differences,” then “we demand special rights,” then “we demand homosexual marriage” and now either accept homosexuality as being normal or get out of the university.

Isn’t it great that our centers of higher learning are so tolerant of people with opposing beliefs?

More than 100,000 Britons have recently downloaded “certificates of de-baptism” from the Internet to renounce their Christian faith.

The initiative launched by a group called the National Secular Society (NSS) follows atheist campaigns here and elsewhere, including a London bus poster which triggered protests by proclaiming “There’s probably no God.”

“We now produce a certificate on parchment and we have sold 1,500 units at three pounds (4.35 dollars, 3.20 euros) a pop,” said NSS president Terry Sanderson, 58.

Michael Evans, 66, branded baptising children as “a form of child abuse”—and said that when he complained to the church where he was christened he was told to contact the European Court of Human Rights.

The Church of England said its official position was not to amend its records. “Renouncing baptism is a matter between the individual and God,” a Church spokesman told AFP.

De-baptism organisers say the initiative is a response to what they see as increasing stridency from churches—the latest last week when Pope Benedict XVI stirred global controversy on a trip to AIDS-ravaged Africa by saying condom use could further spread of the disease.

“The Catholic Church is so politically active at the moment that I think that is where the hostility is coming from,” said Sanderson. “In Catholic countries there is a very strong feeling of wanting to punish the church by leaving it.”

De-baptism movements have already sprung up in other countries.

In Spain, the high court ruled in favor of a man from Valencia, Manuel Blat, saying that under data protection laws he could have the record of his baptism erased, according to a report in the International Herald Tribune.

Similarly, the Italian Union of Rationalists and Agnostics (UAAR) won a legal battle over the right to file for de-baptism in 2002, according to media reports. The group’s website carries a “de-baptism” form to facilitate matters.

According to UAAR secretary Raffaele Carcano, more than 60,000 of these forms have been downloaded in the past four years and continue to be downloaded at a rate of about 2,000 per month. Another 1,000 were downloaded in one day when the group held its first national de-baptism day last October 25.

Infant baptism, from a theological point of view is meaningless, it saves no one. It is a ritual designed by a man organized church to make parents and family feel good, that is all.

This too was prophesied that in the End Times people would consciously leave the faith, abandon Christ and embrace the world and pleasures of the flesh.

It may make atheists and agnostics feel good, but such actions are meaningless, except from a spiritual perspective and that truly is between God and each individuial.

Teenagers are developing a twisted view of sex from pornography they view on the internet, researchers warn.
Previous generations tended to learn about the facts of life from their parents and teachers in a respectful and moral way.
But a third of children surveyed said they had learned about sex from pornography and regarded the soulless images they saw as normal.

An alarming number of teenage girls believed they should imitate pornographic scenes they had seen on the internet.
Nearly nine out of ten teenagers aged 14 to 17 had looked at graphic images and nearly one in five viewed them more than once a week the survey found.

Researchers said a growing number of girls felt pressured into stripping on webcams for their boyfriends.

In one frightening confession, a girl of 15 told how her friends performed sex acts on webcams, replicating what they had seen on the internet or TV.

A 14-year-old girl said that if a girl sent a lewd picture of herself to her boyfriend, it was often sent on to his friends.
A third of youngsters surveyed said pornography was ‘a good thing’. Boys as young as 14 admitted to swapping pornography at school, usually on their phones or computers.

Since 1962 we have looosed the dogs of pornography, with easy access to all sorts of perverse pornography available for free to people of all ages. We have been and are even now turning our children into amoral, sexually perverse human beings, even the best of our young people cannot escape exposure to soft pornography. Who will raise kids: Mom, Dad or state?
Parental rights: 67 in Congress pushing to amend Constitution

Though efforts to pass a constitutional amendment protecting parental rights have failed in the past, two U.S. legislators are preparing to reintroduce the idea this week; and this time, they say, the effort is backed by more than 60 congressional members.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., who introduced a parental rights amendment by himself last year, told the Agence France-Presse that he will be joined by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., on Tuesday as they renew the fight.

According to a statement released to AFP by Hoekstra’s office, the amendment “would clearly outline in the U.S. Constitution that parents, not government or any other organization, have a fundamental right to raise their children as they see fit.”

“At a time when government at every level seems to encroach upon the ability of parents to choose the best for their children,” Hoekstra writes on his website, “it is important to preserve parental rights into the Constitution.”

“Few dispute the vital role of parents in raising the next generation, but, regrettably, few recognize that the fundamental role of parents is under direct attack,” wrote J. Michael Smith, president of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association.

Smith pointed to the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, an internation treaty approved by the Clinton administration but stalled by opposition in the Senate, as one example of governmental attempts to infringe on parental rights.

“It’s possible that in the near future, the United States may significantly weaken the rights of parents to raise their children,” Smith wrote. “Crucial decisions that parents are accustomed to making, such as what our children read, who they associate with, what kind of discipline is used, whether we take them to church, or whether we homeschool, all become decisions for the state if the United States ratifies the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child.”

He continued, “By allowing the government to define and determine what is in the ‘best interests of the child,’ outside the context of abuse and neglect cases, the UNCRC in effect diminishes the parental role, replacing it with government supervision.”

I think the Amendment process is hard, very hard and it should be, as I don’t think the Constitution needs any susbtantive changes, only strict interpretation under original intent; However, I back this legislation and Amendment because the government has already taken away most parental rights in this country and unless we pass this Amendment, we can expect the Congress to back the U.N. Law that will remove ALL paental rights.

Group launches campaign to have FCC crack down on ‘Family Guy’

A campaign by the American Family Association to protest a sexually explicit episode of “Family Guy” on the Fox television network has generated nearly 80,000 complaints to the Federal Communications Commission in just the first day.

The March 8 episode, which was rated by the network as appropriate for 14-year-olds, included multiple references to homosexual sex and featured discussion of an “11-way gay orgy,” according to the family organization.

“This should be disturbing to a lot of American families,” said AFA spokesman Randy Sharp.

“It’s beyond me how a network finds humor in the deviancy of human nature,” he continued. “The writers of this program, you really have to question who are these people who come up with this and call it entertainment.”

If anyone doubts the existence of evil, the ability of a small group of sexual deviants, having been able to wrest control of our schools away from parents and families and use them for homosexual indoctrination centers should change their minds. Not content with the perversion of truth in our schools, they are active in promoting their degenerate sexual lifestyle CHOICE via the media, especially Hollywood, people there having no control of their own lusts. Now they are using cartoon style programs, allegedly approved for 14-year-olds and up, but watched by children of all ages; to make it appear that any objection to their vile sexual preferences, including homosexual orgies is the work of homophobic, most often religious people that are wicked for not approving of homosexuality.

We are living in an upside down, wicked world and there is nothing so morally perverse that now should be denied anyone. People of any faith or even without a religious faith should be in mourning as they see our nation and world sliding into a moral sewer that will destroy us all.

An offended Chris Matthews, on Thursday night’s “Hardball,” was so shocked by Sarah Palin’s claim that there wasn’t anybody to pray with on the McCain campaign, that he hurled multiple insults Palin’s way, calling her, “a little scary,” and asked if Palin thought McCain was, “the Anti-Christ?” Matthews was appalled by Palin’s recent revelation that she had trouble finding someone to pray with before her vice presidential debate and the MSNBC host worried such talk about “The Deity in a political environment,” wasn’t “normal.”

Lois Romano declared, “I think it’s bizarre and I think it’s judgmental,” and Mother Jones magazine’s David Corn cackled it was “mean and catty.” RNC chair Michael Steele was also knocked for a recent profession of faith, as Matthews blurted: “Why does everything sound like the ‘700 Club,’ with this party now? I mean everything seems to be a religious discussion.”

SARAH PALIN: It was the night of the vice presidential debate against Biden. So I’m getting ready to go out there on stage and before any big thing, I pray. He also never has a conservative guest on without a 2 to 3:1 liberal advantage in guests.

Next, it is liberals that hate Christ and the Church, as they look for every possible reference to faith by Republicans and then falsley cry “theocracy,” ‘we are a secular state and we don’t need any of that God crap in politics.’ Which would shock our Founding Fathers and most political leaders until early last century.

Third, the Left fearing any idea of God and His Judgment, most of them not having the tiniest bit of understanding of Christianity, make up their anti-Christ charges out of gross ignorance. The fact is, any true Christian feels the need often to have others join them in prayer, as Scripture tells us that wherever two or three or more are gathered together in His Name and asking anything of God, such prayers will be answered. It is to strengthen ones faith to join in prayer with other Christians and so there is nothing at all unusual or strange in what Palin desired; nor is it odd that she would feel the need to mention that no one in the McCain campaign seemed to have the kind of faith that would encourage them to join her in prayer, fearing someone might hear and “out them.”

This is just more mindless, anti-Christian hatred being expressed by the Democrat Party leaders and by most liberals. They desire a new political litmus test; that is, no belief in Christ if anyone wants to run for public office and certainly no such a damnable thing as prayer for Divine Guidance, as was the habit of our Founding Father’s and most of our nation’s leaders until that anti-christian, KKK member Justice Hugo Black devised a new American doctrine of official government hostility towards Christians. Note I did not say against religion, as the Left only hates Christ and the Church in public affairs.

Mother given £100 parking ticket after she stopped her car to resuscitate her disabled son

It’s the instinctive action of an anxious mother.

When her disabled son began gasping for breath as she drove him to a children’s hospice, Penny Batkin instantly pulled on to the pavement and dashed from the front seat to his aid.

She duly began to resuscitate four-year- old Freddie, who is profoundly disabled, in the back seat.

Unknown to her, her actions had been captured on camera by traffic wardens -  and she later received a £100 fine for parking on the pavement.
Mrs Batkin, 40, felt sure that Richmond Council would waive the fine when she appealed, describing the circumstances.

But the council refused to back down, despite receiving her letter of explanation, which had the support of her GP.

Mrs Batkin, from Hampton Wick, South West London, was taking Freddie to the Shooting Star children’s hospice in Hampextendedton when he began gasping for breath and turning blue.
She said: ‘My immediate reaction was to pull over and deal with him. I had to release him from the passenger seat and resuscitate him.’

The youngster is unable to walk or talk and suffers frequent seizures. The mother of three said she was ‘furious’ at the council’s response to her appeal to the fine.

In a letter, an appeals officer quoted a section of the Highway Code relating to parking on the pavement and insisted it had been unnecessary to park there.

Mrs Batkin said the response was ‘insulting’, adding: ‘I hadn’t parked. I had stopped to deal with an emergency situation.’

Couple Accused Of Videotaping Sex Acts With Children

FOUNTAIN COUNTY, Ind.—“Horrible” is how Fountain County authorities describe the actions of two people accused of videotaping themselves performing sex acts with several children as young as 2 months old.

Stephen E. Quick, 31, and Samantha Light, 25, both of Veedersburg, were arrested on March 5 after a young girl told her mother that the couple had touched her inappropriately and photographed her while she was being baby-sat at their home on Feb. 28.

“I asked her if they were just helping her in the bathroom and she said, ‘No mommy, they took pictures,”

“In 15 years of doing this job, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen or imagined,” Kemp said. “Just horrible, just horrible … It’s a new low.”

“It makes me want to cry reading that stuff because those children, those poor children. And that little baby that had no idea what was happening to it,”

“The damage they have done to these young children is going to affect them for the rest of their lives. And there’s no taking back what has happened already,” she said. “All they can do is make sure that it never happens again.”

Best-selling author (David Wilkerson), Teen Challenge founder, sees ‘earth-shattering calamity about to happen’

A respected pastor, best-selling author and founder of a major ministry to teens predicts an imminent “an earth-shattering calamity” centered in New York City that will spread to major urban areas across the country and around the world – part of what he sees as a judgment from God.

David Wilkerson, author of “The Cross and the Switchblade,” a book about his ministry to troubled New York street kids that was later made into a movie starring Pat Boone, tells readers of his blog this weekend that he is “compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message” about his prediction.

“An earth-shattering calamity is about to happen,” he writes. “It is going to be so frightening, we are all going to tremble – even the godliest among us.”

Wilkerson’s vision is of fires raging through New York City.

“It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires – such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago,” he explains. “There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting – including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

David Wilkerson is no Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson or Dr. Dobson. He is no political animal!  He is no money grubbing minister, fleecing the flock! His messages come with no requests for money or support. It must be noted that his ministry has for several decades been very active in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, help with kids to escape gangs and has NEVER been tainted with any financial scandal or crisis fund raising. His is a ministry of holiness and ministry to people in need. There is no minister today I admire more for his sincere, lifelong, selfless, whole hearted devotion to God and because he does not live the life of a wealthy man, he is a man of very modest means and living not lording it over those he is called to serve.

David wrote a book some years ago, perhaps a decade, predicting the financial mess we are facing in America today.

Family values were under attack again last night with the news that single women having IVF will be able to name anyone they like as their baby’s father on the birth certificate.

New regulations mean that a mother could nominate another woman to be her child’s ‘father’.
The ‘father’ does not need to be genetically related to the baby, nor be in any sort of romantic relationship with the mother.

The changes, due to come in on April 6, will apply to many of the 2,000 women a year who have IVF using sperm from anonymous donors.

The regulations are part of the controversial Embryology Bill passed by Parliament last year. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority said they will give lesbian couples in civil partnerships who undergo IVF the same rights as married heterosexual couples.

Dr Trevor Stammers, a GP and lecturer in healthcare ethics, questioned the strength of the relationships or friendships between the mother and ‘father’.

He said: ‘There is no doubt from sociological evidence accumulated over the past few years that children do best in a two-parent married family with heterosexual couples being the married parents.

‘It probably will be the child that is the loser but by the time we find that out, in 15 or 16 years, a huge amount of damage will have been done.’

Geraldine Smith, Labour MP for Morecambe, said a birth certificate should be a true record of a child’s genetic heritage. She added: ‘I don’t think the state should collude with parents to conceal the true genetic identity.’

David Jones, a professor of bioethics, likened the role of second parent to that of godparent. He added: ‘This sounds like social engineering on the hoof.’

Philippa Taylor, of Christian charity CARE, said: ‘We are going to get to the point where a birth certificate is not going to be a true statement of anyone’s biological heritage.’

Former Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith said a father played an essential role in the development of a child. He added: ‘The present Government seems not to care a damn about families.

‘Teenage pregnancy is on the increase, abortion is on the increase, family breakdown is at record levels and we have got a growing number of dysfunctional children that are the product of broken homes.

‘The lesson seems to be loud and clear to me that fathers are required.’

This is government submission to the homosexual activist agenda, just as they are submitting to the radical Islam agenda.

It is government destroying the family, the cornerstone of civilized society. It is government robbing children of a married, heterosexual two-parent family in the name of social engineering.

It is government extending its absolute authority over every child, displacing parental authority and denying parental rights.

Warning issued over ‘spirit of adulation’ of president
Archbishop: ‘In democracies, we elect public servants, not messiahs’

One of the prominent and rising archbishops in the Catholic Church is warning against a “spirit of adulation” towards President Obama, who was portrayed repeatedly during his campaign with messianic images.

WND reported during the campaign on a website called Obamamessiah which still holds images portraying the president in a “transfiguration” pose, with various haloes around his head, and the cover of a book, “Barack Obama, Son of Promise, Child of Hope.”

“President Obama is a man of intelligence and some remarkable gifts. He has a great ability to inspire. … But whatever his strengths, there’s no way to reinvent his record on abortion and related issues with rosy marketing about unity, hope and change,” Chaput said.

“Of course, that can change. Some things really do change when a person reaches the White House. Power ennobles some men. It diminishes others. Bad policy ideas can be improved. Good policy ideas can find a way to flourish. But as Catholics, we at least need to be honest with ourselves and each other about the political facts we start with,” he said.

Unfortunately when it comes to the current administration that will be very hard for Catholics in the United States, and here’s why. A spirit of adulation bordering on servility already exists among some of the same Democratic-friendly Catholic writers, scholars, editors and activists who once accused prolifers of being too cozy with Republicans. In just the issue of abortion, Obama already has started keeping campaign promises by restoring taxpayer funding for an international program supporting abortion and launching a plan to require physicians to provide various abortion advice and services – no matter how it violates their beliefs.

Chaput said while people “owe civil authority our respect and appropriate obedience,” he said, “Caesar is not God.”

“Only God is God, and the state is subordinate and accountable to God for its treatment of human persons, all of whom were created by God. Our job as believers is to figure out what things belong to Caesar, and what things belong to God – and then put those things in right order in our own lives, and in our relations with others,” he said in comments posted on the website of the Denver archdiocese.

If we are to honestly examine and criticize Administration policies, as we should with any President, it is critical that the teflon, Messiah image of Obama be overcome. Right now the polls indicate, as they did during the election, a public disconnect from reality, based mostly on the Savior image of Lord Obama.

A video showing a King County Sheriff’s deputy pummeling a 15-year-old girl in a holding cell was released Friday over the strenuous objections of the officer’s attorney.

The case goes beyond police misconduct, County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg said in a prepared statement.

“It’s about criminal misconduct. And that’s why he needs to be prosecuted,” he said.

The girl was arrested after she was caught in her parents’ car, which had been reported stolen from her parents’ Tukwila home. Deputy Travis Brunner spotted the car driving without headlights about 3:45 a.m. on 32nd Avenue South in SeaTac and pulled it over

The video shows Schene and Brunner as they escorted the girl into the holding cell. Schene had asked her to remove her basketball shoes, and, as she slipped out of her left shoe, she appeared to kick it at Schene.

Schene then lunged through the door and kicked her, striking either her stomach or upper thigh area, court documents say. He pushed her against a corner wall before flinging her to the floor by her hair. He then squatted down on her and made “two overhead strikes,” although it’s unclear where the blows landed.

The detective who reviewed the video said it appeared Schene and Brunner had the girl under control when Schene struck her. Schene, who is 6 feet 2 and weighs 195 pounds, did not explain his action to investigators, court documents say.

I am always against prejudging guilt for anyone, that remains my firm position on such matters; but, this video looks really, really bad to me; and if I were a juror, I would demand a pretty damn good explanation to erase this image from my mind or this police officer would do serious jail time. The police must be given the benefit of the doubt, they are our best defense against crime; but when they cross the line, they must pay a heavy price for their crime.

Privacy advocates are issuing warnings about a new radio chip plan that ultimately could provide electronic identification for every adult in the U.S. and allow agents to compile attendance lists at anti-government rallies simply by walking through the assembly.

The proposal, which has earned the support of Janet Napolitano, the newly chosen chief of the Department of Homeland Security, would embed radio chips in driver’s licenses, or “enhanced driver’s licenses.”

“Enhanced driver’s licenses give confidence that the person holding the card is the person who is supposed to be holding the card, and it’s less elaborate than REAL ID,” Napolitano said in a Washington Times report.

Radio talk show host and identity chip expert Katherine Albrecht said REAL ID earned the opposition of Christians because of its resemblance to the biblical “mark of the beast,” civil libertarians opposed it for its “big brother” connotations and others worried about identity theft issues with the proposed databases.

“We got rid of the REAL ID program, but [this one] is way more insidious,” she said.

Enhanced driver’s licenses have built-in radio chips providing an identifying number or information that can be accessed by a remote reading unit while the license is inside a wallet or purse.

The technology already had been implemented in Washington state, where it is promoted as an alternative to a passport for traveling to Canada. So far, the program is optional.

They’re actually talking about issuing every person a spychip driver’s license,” she said. “That is the potential problem.”

Imagine, she said, going to a First Amendment-protected event, a church or a mosque, or even a gun show or a peace rally.

“What happens to all those people when a government operator carrying a reading device makes a circuit of the event?” she asked. “They could download all those unique ID numbers and link them.”

Participants could find themselves on “watch” lists or their attendance at protests or rallies added to their government “dossier.”

She said even if such license programs are run by states, there’s virtually no way that the databases would not be linked and accessible to the federal government.

The government under the guise of Homeland Security wants to be able to track everyone’s movements in the U.S., this is very dangerous to our liberty; but, I doubt that the people would ever allow it to become law, that is, unless it is first voluntary and then step by step made mandatory. It is worth our watching closely!
