Former Senator and Rear Admiral Jeremiah Denton, suffering eight years in captivity in Vietnam, in his new book offers many insights into the decline of America. The one that interested me most is this one:

The most basic principle that distinguishes America as a nation, he said, is the Declaration of Independence’s assertion that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with inalienable rights.

”Nobody is interpreting rights now in terms of the Creator,” he said. “He endowed the rights.”

President Obama, Denton contended, is usurping the rights of God, “as did Hitler and Stalin and the emperors of Rome.”

“They all had gods – but when they didn’t have good enough gods to constitute a culture, they went to hell,” Denton told WND. “And we are too, if we continue to believe that man, all of us individually, or our government, can determine what the rights are and set up everything else to match that. We’re done.”

In the Declaration of Independence, despite the lying nonsense today about separation of Church and State; our national charter declared that our rights were guaranteed by our reliance upon Nature’s God, our Creator. No not a theocracy or a state dominated religion, but by a general acknowledgment that our rights were dependent upon Nature’s God and without Him, we have no rights at all.

In 1962 SCOTUS officially kicked God out of the public square, in contravention of the Constitution and the First Amendment; and immediately thereafter one by one, chip by chip our basic Civil Rights have been made less secure to the point wherein they are now mostly meaningless.

Admiral Denton mentioned his shock when returning from captivity: “I saw the appearance of X-rated movies, adult magazines, massage parlors, the proliferation of drugs, promiscuity, pre-marital sex, and unwed mothers.” He could have added out-of-the-closet homosexuality, assassinations, riots in the streets, near anarchy.

Yes, 90+% of those posting and commenting at SAB will reject Admiral Denton’s warnings, we have altogether become deaf, dumb and blind to the benefits of our long Christian heritage and the blessings of Nature’s God that, long made us the most prosperous and powerful nation on earth; and since our rejection of that heritage we are fast becoming a third world state, another great empire, like them having assumed we were the best gods of our own lives and by that incredible hubris, we are now falling into the ash heaps of history.

A column on a “right wing” website suggesting an Islamic motivation for last week’s Fort Hood shooting massacre may help generate a backlash against American Muslim soldiers, according to CNN.

On CNN’s American Morning show yesterday, reporter Carol Costello quoted the mother of a Muslim U.S. soldier as fearing “a backlash against Muslim American soldiers.”

“She knows some are already reaching conclusions as to why Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on his fellow soldiers,” Costello stated.

Continued Costello: “The right-wing website, Pajamas Media, is an example. Phyllis Chesler writing, ‘I knew in my bones that the shooter or shooters were Muslim. We must connect the dots before it’s too late.’”

Since the Fort Hood shooting two things have happened that are worthy of our notice:

1. There is a conspiracy among Liberals In Congress, the Administration and the media to paint the shooter as solely suffering from stress and disconnecting his militant Islamic beliefs from his murders.

2. There is a conspiracy among Liberals In Congress, the Administration and the media to cause Americans to fear people on the political right as being a danger to Muslims and to the Administration during a time of crisis.

I don’t claim they all sat around in a room to conspire to react this way, I am not that kind of conspiracy theorist, although Obama did in his meeting with the house; but rather, it is an unspoken agreement among people sharing common beliefs to promote the liberal goals of Obama and to paint conservatives as enemies of the state.

Last Best Hope posted an article from WND about how political correctness contributed, was an accessory to the deaths and injuries at Fort Hood, caused by an Islamic Extremist. This is another article by another author at the same site, that I believe is must reading for every American.

So, why do we have this stubborn inability to come to grips with Islam?

Everyone attributes it to “political correctness,” but I think it’s time to move beyond that shallow, passé, near-meaningless phrase.

Do we dare admit what is really at play here? The truth is actually very simple.

We are afraid of Islam.

We are intimidated by Islam.

And because we are afraid of and intimidated by Islam, Islam is changing us – in two distinct and profound ways.

The evil of “political correctness” – the totalitarian manipulation of thought, foisted on us by twisted elitist sociopaths who hate America and everything our soldiers have fought and died for over the last two centuries, and continue to fight and die for – has to end. Now. It’s over. This nation must rise up and defy the insane thought control that is destroying our country right before our eyes.

Unless I am mistaken, doesn’t PBS benefit from tax dollars? If so, should a program we taxpayers support be teaching our children which news shows are unacceptable? This was a couple of years ago, but I still find it offensive.

Despite a news cameraman being on a public sidewalk, taping a peaceful protest about senseless violence on the streets, he was arrested and while handcuffed and not resisting placed in a choke hold. What about Freedom of the Press, it does not apply in New Jersey?

Too often in recent years we have witnessed the police violating the First Amendment, including Speech, Press and Religion. For some reason, they seem to increasingly believe they have a right to do whatever they want and to hell with the Constitution.

A former affiliate director for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion industry player, says she decided she no longer could work towards the goal of abortion when she was holding an ultrasound probe as a physician was aborting a baby and she realized the unborn child was fighting for its life.

Johnson said she first got involved with Planned Parenthood because of efforts to prevent pregnancy.

But she said her experience watching an abortion left her mind racing and her heart beating fast.

“For whatever reason I was called in to help. My job was to hold the ulstrasound probe on the abdomen,” she said. “When I looked at the screen, I saw a baby on the screen. She was about 13 weeks pregnant at the time. I saw a full side profile. I saw face to feet on the ultrasound.

“I saw the probe going into the woman’s uterus. At that moment I saw the baby moving, trying to get away from the probe,” she continued.

“I thought, ‘It’s fighting for its life.’ I thought, ‘It’s life. It’s alive.’

“I dropped the ultrasound probe. I scrambled and put [the probe] back in place. So many things were going through my mind. I was thinking about my daughter, who’s three,” she said.

“I was just thinking, ‘What am I doing here? What am I doing here? There was life in here and now there’s not.”

It is self-explanatory, you either agree or not by choice. IMO all abortion is murder!

Bush did this all the time as POTUS, no cameras, no media hype, just quietly showing compassion for people in pain and always to honor the military. Yes, liberals there were times with cameras and the media, but there were many more times done quietly, because he and Laura were and are incredibly decent human beings.

The Bushes entered and departed the sprawling military facility in secret, having told the base commander they did not want press coverage of their visit, a source told Fox News.

The couple was described as “deeply concerned” about military families on Fort Hood after Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly opened fire on soldiers and civilians, killing 13 and wounding 38.

The Bushes, who have a 1,600-acre property known as Prairie Chapel Ranch less than 30 miles from Fort Hood in central Texas, spent between one and two hours visiting the wounded and their families.

As time goes by all of America will greatly elevate President Bush in their estimations and agree that despite his faults, he was and is an incredibly decent human being.

The men and women that risk their lives in defense of liberty deserve our thanks, those that are wounded or are slain deserve our respect, while their loved ones deserve our deepest, most sincere sympathy and love. I so admire these exceptional human beings.

Judge rules that green views are the ‘same as religious beliefs’ as sacked environmentalist wins legal battle

An environmentalist who claims he was fired for his views has won a landmark legal battle after a judge ruled being green was just as worthy of protection at work as religion.

’Green martyr’ Tim Nicholson, 42, claims he was dismissed after his bosses at showed contempt for his philosophical belief the earth faces ‘catastrophic climate change’.

Mr Nicholson also found fault with managers for driving ‘the most polluting cars on the road’ to client meetings at which they would explain their green policies.

Grainger contended his views were political and a ‘lifestyle choice’.

But a judge ruled employers should no more discriminate against workers for being green than for their religious or philosophical beliefs.

Mr Qureshi, head of employment law at Bindmans LLP, representing Mr Nicholson, said: ‘Vast numbers of people are now living their lives in accordance with their views on climate change and the environment.

’These are often deeply held views based on the premise that without change humanity will suffer. Tim Nicholson believes that people should be able to express such views without fear of retribution or discrimination.’

Mr Nicholson added: ‘I am grateful that Mr Justice Burton understood that deeply and genuinely held views about catastrophic climate change and the need to change our ways to protect the human race are philosophical views that are worthy of protection. Such views are more and more relevant to our planet’s survival.’

Only problem is, religious views there and here are no longer, as an earlier post on a man getting fired for expressing his religious views on homosexuality attest, protected by law on or off the job. If Greenies were treated as Christians they would have to shut up almost anywhere on the planet, but they are in fact given preferential rights there and here.

This is true Islam for those that believe we can appease them or that by peace they desire to live in peace with even one Jew left alive on earth. Obama and Madame Hillary are trying to force Israel to give more of their land and new settlements to pay the price for peace, but even if Mahdi Obama gives it all to them, they will still go about the world killing Jews and anyone that defends any Jew.

“Look at this Jew being kicked. People hate them. They don’t like them,” explained Al-Ansari, laughing.

A Massachusetts man has been fired from his sales position at the Logan Airport branch in Boston of Brookstone for allegedly for telling a female manager that his Christian faith says homosexuality is wrong.

Peter Vadala was fired and the company says he violated a tolerance policy. But Vadala reports his dismissal came because he expressed his Christian view of homosexuality after a female manager made repeated references as she approached him four times during work hours to her plans to marry her lesbian partner.

McGrath refused WND’s request to comment on the dispute. Instead she suggested Brookstone’s legal department be contacted. That department did not respond.

When contacted about the firing, store manager Katelyn Woodard said, “You need to speak to human resources about this and if you call this number again, I’ll file harassment charges.”

First they demanded toleration for their lifestyle choice, then they demanded acceptance of it as being normal, then that they be allowed to high jack marriage and now if you speak against them at work, even in non-gay marriage states, just an expression of one’s faith that homosexuality is wrong will cost you your job and under the new hate crimes law will cost you a fine and/or jail time. You are no longer, even under the 1st Amendment, allowed to express your faith or political views anywhere if they offend homosexuals.

It seems to me that even on the job, if one employee is allowed to express their personal beliefs, in this case in homosexuality being normal, it should be illegal to punish someone else expressing the opposite views in the same work place. Surely, that means companies are allowed to promote single moral-political views and deny others the right to hold opposite views.

Putting aside one’s faith as an issue, even if you are an atheist and hate Christians, any true conservative should be alarmed that free speech and thought is under such strong attacks in Obamaland!

I think he is! We debated international treaties having power over our constitution some time ago, the consensus was, with me on the opposite side, that any treaty we sign becomes part of our Constitution. I bow to that wisdom, now what do we do?

ACORN wants people to register to vote – as long as they’re Democrats. Republican registrations go into the trash.

Here is a first-hand account of how it happens. In February 2008, Fathiyyah Muhammad of Jacksonville, Florida, heard that ACORN was paying people three dollars for each voter they could register. ACORN paid her three dollars for each voter she registered, but Fatiyyah Muhammad says that the group threw out her votes and fired her when she brought them registrations of Republican voters.

She went to work: “Well, I went out and got a lot of people, homeless people, but of course I signed everybody up as a Republican, and I would have put people had they been Democrats.” She was not forcing people to sign up as Republicans: “You could put down anything you wanted.” But when she got back to ACORN, a group leader was not pleased: “So I showed what I had, and he said, “No, no, you a fraud, there can’t be any black Republicans,’ and oh, he just kind of hung me out to dry…. But of course their main aim was to register only Democrats. They’re not interested in registering Republicans.”

She saw ACORN officials in Jacksonville throw out the Republican registrations she made. “They just discarded those, they weren’t valid. All of the registrations… they just threw those out.” Yet she says that she is sure that the people she registered were actually going to vote: “Yes, they all were going to vote, I just didn’t want to get anybody just to get the three dollars, I wasn’t desperate for three dollars.”

This past Presidential election was not only the most racist (pro-Black) election in history, by all accounts it may have been the worst fraud. I don’t know if these kind of things made a difference, well except Minnesota, but it sure was the most unAmerican.
