I would never have believed that the UK would bend over so far backward to accommodate Muslims, firing a man who was upset because Muslims would use a hospital chapel, cover up Christian images and then deliberately leave them cover-up when they left.

A HOSPITAL porter was “devastated” last night after he was sacked following a row with a Muslim doctor over a crucifix. Joseph Protano, a devout Roman Catholic, was a regular visitor to a prayer room open to all faiths at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. But Mr Protono, 54, became increasingly angry to find that a crucifix and a statue of the Virgin Mary were regularly being left covered up.

On one visit he discovered three Muslims – two patients and a consultant – inside the prayer room with the two icons masked by a cloth. A picture of the Virgin Mary had also been placed face down. Mr Protano is alleged to have uncovered the symbols and stood the picture back up before leaving the room. But minutes later there was a “confrontation” in the corridor after the group followed him out. The Muslims accused Mr Protano of using racist language and assault, but he strongly denies the charges against him and claims they verbally abused him.

Mr Protano, from Salford, was suspended four days after the incident in December and has now been fired. A senior detective told the Daily Express: “I do not believe there should be any action over this, but the decision does not rest with me.”

Scores of babies left to die after NHS abortions that go wrong:

Botched abortions mean that scores of babies are being born alive and left to die, an official report has revealed. A total of 66 infants survived NHS termination attempts in one year alone, it emerged.

Rather than dying at birth as was intended, they were able to breathe unaided. About half were alive for an hour, while one survived ten hours.

Guidance from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommends babies over 22 weeks which survive abortion should have their hearts stopped by lethal injection but this can be a difficult procedure for doctors. (Oh yea, deliver them alive a then snuff out their lives by injection, very humane!)

Professor Stuart Campbell, an eminent obstetrician whose 3D scan images of babies “walking in the womb” have fueled the debate over late abortions, said: “It is a distressing situation when these babies are being born alive. (I am so sorry these health care professionals are distressed, cold-blooded murder can do that to sensitive, compasionate liberals)

In a case very similar to Terrie Schiavo, once again the state, a close family member and the courts are conspiring to deliberately terminate the life of an innocent human being, in what can only be described as a national blood lust. Whether it is aborting (murdering) over a million innocent babies every year, physician assisted suicide or via active euthanasia it appears liberal minded people simply cannot satisfy their desire to kill in the name of the state.

Since 1948 and the damnable SCOTUS decision to advance the lie of separation of Church and State; and thereby create an official government hostilty towards Christ and the Church, we have produced an American Doctrine of Death, and while it may appear excessive by some for me to say so, there is nothing, absolutely nothing to prevent them in years to come to sanction the murder of any social undesireables, including all Christians and anyone not supporting the state in every way.

Balderdash Neiman, that is utter nonsense! Yes, but tell that to the people under every communist regime that were sent to prison, tortured and murdered for those exact reasons, while the people out of fear did nothing to protest. Tell that to the over six million Jews of WW-II. Tell that to political dissidents and Christians in China and Cuba (Obama wants to appease Castro, so I guess he likes that regime or terror).

If the primary season reveals no decisive front-runner, and if conservative delegates head toward the GOP convention with the nagging feeling that our best candidate wasn’t in the race, we urge them to consider acting on what so many Republicans and Reagan Democrats are thinking. Drafting Newt Gingrich is a real solution to the current leadership problem. Even as a vice presidential choice, Gingrich would solidify the ranks and reinforce the GOP’s position as the party of bold ideas, but as a presidential choice he could bring about a truly needed Second Reagan Revolution.

McCain is simply too distasteful to me, too liberal, too much for compromise, too little a conservative. So, why not put out a call to all conservatives to try and deny McCain the nomination and wait until the convention to draft Fred and Newt? That has to be a better solution than Juan McCain!

We can be free and responsible for our own lives or eat the free corn of the Democrats and it is all up to each one of us.

There was a chemistry professor in a large college who had some exchange students in the class.  One day while the class was in the lab, the prof noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter.  The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back.  He had been shot while
fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question.  He asked:

“Do you know how to catch wild pigs?” The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.  The young man said that it was no
joke.

“You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn.  When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming.

When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.  They get used to that and start to eat again.  You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.  The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again.  You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.  Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom.  They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.  Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.”

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America: The government keeps pushing us toward
Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax cuts, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc.  while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you
cheaper than you can do it yourself.

We are all consumed here at home with national politics, right versus left, conservative versus liberal, and even Christians versus Secularists. But, I think it is terribly, terribly important to stop once in awhile and get our heads and hearts out of such mundane and often frivolous matters and remember that many of our finest children have died to offer a chance at liberty to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan and we have still more that will yet give their lives in this most noble cause.

I also want us to remember that many families at home are still mourning their loss, they too have paid a price to defend this nation and bring freedom to the Iraqi and Afghanistan people; and these loved ones at home are still crying out, “Why does my soul feel so bad?”

I also pray that what these fine people paid so high a price to give to others will not drop by drop be taken away from those they left at home.

Lastly, what a terrible shame it will be if after so many have died, so many more had their bodies broken, when we are so close to victory, if the remaining troops will be ordered out because a temporary new occupant of the White House and a new Congress will be fulfilling damnable campaign promises and not out of true conviction.

We sometimes hear of a soldier having died in battle, perhaps in Iraq. We marvel that they were willing to place their own lives at risk to defend the right of other human beings to breathe free, and in Iraq even for people that in many ways do not share our values. We honor these dead heroes, we give them medals and tell stories about their valor and for good reason, it is so encouraging to know we have such men and women in our world.

We also have men and women in police, fire and rescue services that deserve these same honors and our most sincere gratitude. But, once in a while we are confronted with incredible courage next door, a courage that make us all cry, because the people involved were not soldiers or rescue people having volunteered for high risk jobs, but nonetheless they displayed a courage that makes us glad to be human beings. This woman below is just such a hero as far as I am concerned and yet she will not be honored with medals:

Lorraine Allard knew that she had a way out, that she could live, but rather than selfishly abort her third baby and accept life saving cancer treatments, she decided that she would die so her baby would live. Think about that, it wasn’t an urgent decision in the heat of a military battle, it wasn’t taking the calculated risks of a trained rescuer, and she knew that her decision meant she would absolutely die and that very soon, yet her love for her unborn baby demanded that she sacrifice her own life, her own hopes for the future, her delight in raising all three of her children, all because of love.

Many here and elsewhere say that Christians are not being discriminated against by federal, state and local governments; But, it is happening every day all over the country in violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments.

#1: A lawsuit has been filed against the city of Wichita, Kan., and several of its police officers on behalf of a Christian pastor arrested just for being on public property. Holick’s arrest happened last summer when a homosexual festival was being held in a public park in Wichita. He went to share his Christian faith on public property, and it took only a little longer than three minutes after his arrival for police officers to arrest him.

#2: In Elmira, N.Y., police arrested seven Christians who went into a public park where a “gay” fest was beginning and started to pray, faces down, while holding their Bibles. They were cited for “disturbing the peace,”

#3: Another case developed when police in St. Petersburg, Fla., arrested five Christians for carrying signs “wider than their torsos” outside an officially designated protest area at that city’s homosexual festival. St. Petersburg officials, following disturbances at a previous homosexual pride festival, implemented rules governing outdoor events that set aside “free speech zones” where protesters are allowed.

The school system launched its work on the highly explicit sex curriculum six years ago, and it earlier was struck down by a federal judge because of its content that condemned religious perspectives that did not endorse homosexuality. The newest challenge is an edited version of the curriculum that still includes elements to which parents have objected, such as the statement that being “gay” is a natural trait that people have at birth.

“The Montgomery County Board of Education claims that teaching children to ‘respect’ transsexuality, homosexuality and cross-dressing is a ‘civic virtue,’” Regina Griggs, the executive director of PFOX, told WND earlier.

“But they refuse to teach respect for ex-gays or a child’s right to not embrace homosexuality,” she said.

Once again liberals controlling another damnable school board openly defy the wishes of the parents in promoting homosexuality as being innate, in demanding toleration for homosexual conduct, while refusing to teach respect for those with opposing religious beliefs:

A parents group is asking a judge to halt an explicit sex-education curriculum implemented by a Maryland school board that teaches homosexuality is innate and provides depictions of “erotic” sex techniques.

Worse than teaching homoexuality as being normative when it is actually a perversion, they are often engaged in “how to” curriculums in school. They deny parents the right have their children excused from these classes and they have on many occasions engaged in top secret policies to make sure the parents don’t even find out about their pro-homosexuality agenda. USMC Rules for Gunfighting:
Because I am a former serving Marine, I like these:
1. Bring a gun.  Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns.
2. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap.  Your life is expensive.
3. Only hits count.  The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss.
4. If your shooting stance is good, you’re probably not moving fast enough nor using cover correctly.
5. Move away from your attacker.  Distance is your friend.
(Lateral and diagonal movement are preferred.)
6. If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a long gun and a friend with a long gun.
7. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics.  They will only remember who lived.
8. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating, reloading, and running.
9. Accuracy is relative:  most combat shooting standards will be more dependent on “pucker factor” than the inherent accuracy of the gun.
9.5 Use a gun that works EVERY TIME.
10. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but he should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.
11. Always cheat; always win.  The only unfair fight is the one you lose.
12. Have a plan.
13. Have a back-up plan, because the first one won’t work.
14. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
15. Flank your adversary when possible..  Protect yours.
16. Don’t drop your guard.
17. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees.
18. Watch their hands.  Hands kill.  ("In God we trust. Everyone else, keep your hands where I can see them.")
19. Decide to be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH.
20. The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.
21. Be polite.  Be professional.  But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
22. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
23. Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.
24.  Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun, the caliber of which does not start with a “.4”

North Dakota has no influence of POTUS chosen in the next election? Maybe!

“A second state has approved a plan that would bypass the U.S. electoral college, giving the presidency to the winner of a national popular vote. The move came this weekend when New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine signed legislation that specifies the state’s 15 electoral college votes would go to the winner of the popular vote.

Maryland, with its 10 electoral college votes, earlier approved a similar plan. Both are contingent on enough other states approving the plan to provide absolute control over presidential elections. Another state plan also is headed for the desk of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich after lawmakers approved it just days ago.

Opponents say the plan threatens the nation’s republican form of government and would give unstoppable control over the White House to any coalition the major population centers would choose to create.

This would seriously pervert the Constitution and large, liberal cities would always choose the POTUS and I guarantee you no conservative or Republican would be on their list!

This is a hell of a lot more dangerous than Huckabee!

A U.S. Coast Guard officer and devout Catholic has filed suit to prevent being forced to receive a vaccination derived from the lung of an aborted child after a higher ranking officer disputed his understanding of Church theology.

The Alliance Defense Fund filed a complaint last week in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on behalf of Lt. Cmdr. Joseph Healy, charging the government with using its own arbitrary judgment of what constitutes Catholic theology while permitting religious exemptions to others, effectively discriminating against Healy’s sincerely held religious beliefs.

Tommy Douglas of Saskatchewan, Canada

Did you ever hear of him? If not, you should look him up on the Internet, Tommy suffered a injured leg at 6-years of age, receiving no medical care for it and according to him, it began his lifelong work to establish a new human right in Canada, now being embraced by the world, of National Health Care otherwise known as socialized medicine. He is the father of Canada’s National Health Care system and a Canadian hero. I don’t doubt that his motives were sincere, I have no reason to believe otherwise, but there are many things about Tommy and his program worthy of our attention.

• At first people didn’t like the idea, because it was too reminiscent of the state control of the Soviet Union.
• Douglas insisted he only wanted universal health care established as a basic human right in Canada and he was not interested in totalitarian government.
• It is fascinating that Douglas insisted government would pay for all the health care, but wait a minute, government isn’t a money making enterprise, is it? No! It is the people through onerous taxation that pay for such things, not government.
• Because taxes alone could not support such a massive program (It cannot thus be supported) and since good old liberal, now Democrat Tommy Douglas wanted a huge, free (isn’t that an odd way to describe a government funded program?) universal health care program, the Provincial government under his leadership took over the Utilities, Lumber, Fisheries industries and other private corporations to become state run entities generating enough income for his grand vision along with continued taxation and partial pay for some care.
• Because of the so-called success in Saskatchewan, Canada instituted national health care.

It is an old, old pattern on the road to totalitarian government: An emotional person or persons with a misplaced sense of compassion identify a need, they establish in the minds of the people a sense of entitlement, make the solution appear to be possible without any personal costs, then they launch the program and step-by-step many other social welfare programs. They all start with a relatively small level of taxation, the costs and thus taxes steadily rise, then the government, to lift the burden on average taxpayers justify a need to super-tax the so-called rich costing jobs and increasing the cost of living for the poor; and at the same time exercise local and federal control over key industries, public utilities and even private companies and suddenly the government controls every aspect of the lives of every one of its citizens, except the ruling elite of course.  Canada is well down that often trod road and the Hildabest, the Breck Girl, Osamaba, even some liberal Republicans are all buying into the idea of national health care here as a basic human right and unless the people can be awakened to the dangers to our liberty and the hope of individual prosperity as a result of hard work, look for a full blown socialist state in America in a few decades, maybe sooner if we lose this current election cycle.
