Barry Soetoro For President

Actually, Barry Soetoro is the reported name used by Barak Obama when he was allegedly enrolled in a Roman Catholic School in Indonesia as a youth.

“Obama was ‘quite religious in Islam’
Contemporaries, records dispute campaign
claim that he was never ‘practicing Muslim”

Unfortunately in an article in Whistleblower, a magazine by World Net Daily, the authors try unsuccessfuly IMO to make a case that Braak Obama was a practicing Muslim in his youth, contrary to his claims otherwise. After reading the article through, I find no credible, objective evidence therein to support that claim.

Being a former practicing Muslim, a superficial one or an ardent Muslim is not a barrier to becoming POTUS. While Obama claims to be a Christian now, whether true or not in his heart, it is also no barrier to the office of POTUS and it can be either a negative or a positive thing depending upon the person.

I must admit that for a host of reasons I do not want a Muslim for President, mostly because Islam does demand forced conversion or death to all non-believers. I would also be deeply concerned if he lied about the depth of involvement in his Muslim past, mostly because that would prove him to be Liar-In-Chief and unworthy of our trust.

However, the point of this thread is that it is, IMO, indecent and counterproductive to try and make a case for Obama having a Muslim past based on second and third hand accounts, as it would be an attempt to stop Obama from becoming POTUS based on religious bias not on whether or not he is qualified. I believe there is ample evidence in his life to question Barak’s honesty, his credentials and noting his unsavory associations are of greater value than to try and build a case against his candidacy rather than resorting to cheap innuendos.

3rd-Graders Plot To Hurt Teacher

This is a story from the AP. What has happened to our society when even children this young are able to plot to hurt and maybe kill a teacher for daring to speak harshly to a child for standing on their seat, which disobedience to the rules placed that child in danger? This is what we get when Liberals and the NEA educate our children, violence and fear in the classroom.

3rd-Graders Plot to Hurt Teacher
WAYCROSS, Ga. (AP)

Police say a group of third-graders plotted to attack their teacher, bringing a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape and other items for the job and assigning children tasks including covering the windows and cleaning up afterward.
The plot by as many as nine boys and girls at Center Elementary School in south Georgia was a serious threat, Waycross Police Chief Tony Tanner said Tuesday.
“We did not hear anybody say they intended to kill her, but could they have accidentally killed her? Absolutely,” Tanner said. “We feel like if they weren’t interrupted, there would have been an attempt. Would they have been successful? We don’t know.”
The children, ages 8 and 9, were apparently mad at the teacher because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair, Tanner said.
They could be expelled, but a prosecutor said they are too young to be charged with a crime under Georgia law.
Tanner said school officials alerted police Friday after a pupil tipped off a teacher that a girl had brought a weapon to school.
Police seized a broken steak knife, handcuffs, duct tape, electrical and transparent tape, ribbons and a crystal paperweight from the students, who apparently intended to use them against the teacher, Tanner said.
The alleged target is a veteran educator who teaches third-grade students with a range of learning disabilities, including attention deficit disorder, delayed development and hyperactivity, friends and parents said.
Tanner said the scheme involved a division of roles. One child’s job was to cover windows so no one could see outside, he said. Another was supposed to clean up after the attack.
“We estimate between six to nine students were involved. ... We’re not sure at this point in the investigation how many of the students actually knew the intent was to hurt the teacher,” Tanner said.
The parents of the students have cooperated with investigators, who aren’t allowed to question the children without their parents’ or guardians’ consent, he said. Authorities have withheld the children’s names.
Police expected to forward the results of their investigation to prosecutors, Tanner said.
Children in Georgia can’t be charged with a crime unless they are at least 13, District Attorney Rick Currie said.
Theresa Martin, spokeswoman for the Ware County school system, told The Florida Times-Union of Jacksonville, Fla., that administrators would follow school system policy and state law in disciplining the students.
“From what I understand, they were considered pretty good kids,” Martin said. “But we have to take this seriously, whether they were serious or not about carrying this through, and that’s what we did.”
Four mothers of other third-grade students at Center Elementary called for the immediate expulsion of the suspected plotters.
Stacy Carter and Deana Hiott both cited school system policy stating that any student who brings “anything reasonably considered to be a weapon” is to be expelled for at least the remainder of the school year.
“We don’t want our children around them,” Carter told the Times-Union. “The one with the knife could have stabbed my child or someone else’s child at lunch or out on the playground.”
“This is an isolated incident, an aberration. ... We have good kids,” Center Principal Angie Coleman told the newspaper.

Should We Have a Statue of Tyranny?

I find this an interesting case to deal with the subjects of Free Political Speech, equal protection under the law. freedom of religion and whether or not a government having accepted a monument for public display, must accept all other monuments promoting contrary beliefs.

The Supreme Court today announced it will review a case that could be used to install a “Statue of Tyranny” to oppose the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor.

“We’re delighted that the Supreme Court agreed to take this critical case – it’s exactly what we were hoping for,” said Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, which represents the city of Pleasant Grove, Utah, in the dispute.

Jay Sekalow of the ACLJ

“The Supreme Court is faced with a dramatic opportunity: Preserve sound precedent involving the well-established distinction between government speech and private speech – or permit a twisted interpretation of the Constitution to create havoc in cities and localities across America,” Sekulow said. “The lower court decision – if left unchecked – would ultimately force local governments to remove long-standing and well-established patriotic, religious and historical displays.

“The lower court decision misses a key distinction between government speech and private speech,” Sekulow said. “The government has to be neutral toward private speech, but it does not have to be neutral in its own speech. The 10th Circuit confused this rule when it said private parties have a First Amendment right to put up the monuments of their choosing in a city park, unless the city takes away all other donated monuments.”

The ACLJ’s petition argued: “When private speakers have the right to use government property to speak, there is a speech forum. But when, as here, the donor cedes and the government accepts ownership and control of something from a private party, that ‘something’ is no longer private property. It becomes government property. And if it is a message-bearing ‘something,’ any communication thenceforth is government speech, not private speech.”

It continued: ”Accepting a monument for permanent display as the government’s own property does not require accepting other monuments in the name of content- or viewpoint-neutrality. Nor does the government’s acceptance of a donated monument require that a government park be turned into a cluttered junkyard of monuments contributed by all comers.

10-Year Old Dying Girl’s Last Wish

She Was Hanging On For Daddy”
Girl, 10, Succumbs To Brain Cancer After Inmate Dad Gets One Last Visit

(CBS) A ten-year-old girl lost her battle with brain cancer overnight, shortly after what turned out to be a last visit from her father, who’s in prison on a drugs-related conviction.

It was, Jayci Yaeger’s family says, her last wish—to have her father by her side. Jason Yaeger was escorted Wednesday from Yankton Federal Prison Camp in South Dakota to the hospice in Lincoln, Neb. where Jayci spent her last days. Jason was allowed to stay for 20 minutes.

The link to this heartbreaking story is below. The wish of this dying girl was the most important part of this story. The prison officials tried very hard to meet her needs and yet the family is not satisfied.

1. It may be that some will be in sympathy with the father because he was only in prison for a drug charge.
2. Some, including this writer, believes the father was responsible for not being with his dying daughter and now with his surviving and grieving daughter, because he chose to break the law.
3. I do not understand why the prison is criticized when the only thing they did not do was give this man an early release.
4. This little girl, who loved and needed her father so much was able to see him four times in recent weeks and at her last minutes, despite the fact the prison had no legal responsibility to do anything, they went the extra mile.

No matter what the facts are it is heartbreaking that such a young human being suffered and died, it is terrible that the surviving daughter must grieve without the arms of her father around her; but we must ask ourselves who is responsible for the father being absent, the prison or the father?

Islam reacts to Geet Wilder’s - Fitna Movie

This guy won’t live long, but I respect his courage. By the way, he is being attacked as a member of the “Right,” a “Christian” and a supporter of Israel.

His actions, the Dutch government is warning, have put countless lives at risk. Plans are being drawn up to evacuate Dutch embassies around the world, riot police are on standby in Amsterdam and ordinary citizens are cancelling foreign holidays as they prepare for trouble.

There are already protests on the streets and by the goverments of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia.

Wilders, you see, has spoken out against the Muslim faith. He’s attacked the “tsunami of Islamisation” that he says is engulfing traditional Dutch society. He’s attacked the prophet Mohammed, saying that were he alive today he should be “tarred and feathered” and deported as an extremist.

He’s attacked the culture of political correctness that has seen immigrants given housing and benefits without even having to try to assimilate into Western culture. And he’s attacked the Koran, a book he likens to Hitler’s Mein Kampf, describing it as the cornerstone of a “fascist ideology” that aims to destroy all who oppose it.

Wilders has also made a 15-minute movie. Called Fitna (Arabic for “strife"), it was broadcast on the internet for the first time on Thursday afternoon, prompting fears of a backlash against Dutch citizens of unprecedented proportions. Wilders remains unrepentant. Over the past few years the Right-wing MP has received many death threats and knows his life is in danger.

Even so, he says: “If I were to moderate my voice, if I stop saying what I think, then the people who use undemocratic arguments like death threats would have won.

Gore-Obama in 08?

Joe Kein thinks so: You all thought I was crazy even to suggest the idea, but Klein a Democrat Party Propaganda Minister thinks its worth considering.

It’s the moment when pundits demand action—"Drop out, Hillary!"—and propound foolish theories. And so I’m rather embarrassed to admit that I’m slouching toward, well, a theory: if this race continues to slide downhill, the answer to the Democratic Party’s dilemma may turn out to be Al Gore.

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com

Which brings us back to Al Gore. Pish-tosh, you say, and you’re probably right. But let’s play a little. Let’s say the elders of the Democratic Party decide, when the primaries end, that neither Obama nor Clinton is viable. Let’s also assume—and this may be a real stretch—that such elders are strong and smart enough to act. All they’d have to do would be to convince a significant fraction of their superdelegate friends, maybe fewer than 100, to announce that they were taking a pass on the first ballot at the Denver convention, which would deny the 2,025 votes necessary to Obama or Clinton. What if they then approached Gore and asked him to be the nominee, for the good of the party—and suggested that he take Obama as his running mate? Of course, Obama would have to be a party to the deal and bring his 1,900 or so delegates along.

I played out that scenario with about a dozen prominent Democrats recently, from various sectors of the party, including both Obama and Clinton partisans. Most said it was extremely unlikely ... and a pretty interesting idea. A prominent fund raiser told me, “Gore-Obama is the ticket a lot of people wanted in the first place.” A congressional Democrat told me, “This could be our way out of a mess.” Others suggested Gore was painfully aware of his limitations as a candidate. “I don’t know that he’d be interested, even if you handed it to him,” said a Gore friend. Chances are, no one will hand it to him. The Democratic Party would have to be monumentally desperate come June. And yet ... is this scenario any more preposterous than the one that gave John McCain the Republican nomination? Yes, it’s silly season. But this has been an exceptionally “silly” year

8 1/2 Month C-Section of a Non-Person

This should have happened a long time ago:

A Colorado judge has dismissed charges against a man who caused a fatal car crash because the victim, at 8½ months of a pregnancy, had only been scheduled for a C-section to be born and that had not yet happened at the time of the crash.

“‘Person’ is a defined term for purposes of the homicide statutes …,” wrote Judge Richard Gurley in a case involving the death of Lileigh Lehnen, the born-alive daughter of 26-year-old Shea Lehnen.

“The definition states that “‘person,’ when referring to the victim of a homicide, means a human being who had been born and was alive at the time of the homicidal act,” the judge said.

Lileigh Lehnen was born during an emergency C-Section after the November 2007 accident that was triggered when Logan Lage, 24, apparently drove on the wrong side of the road and crashed his vehicle headon into Lehnen’s car.

Dear judge: Wasn’t that child alive in the womb?

It was always very bad law to say a fetus is a human being when its life is terminated by an accident or a physical assault on a pregnant woman and it is only a mass of tissue, a non-person, when aborted. That fetus from conception is either a human being then and always, or it is never more than than a mass of cells like a tumor until after delivery from the womb. It cannot logically or legally be one thing at one moment in time and another the thing the next.

I am glad this happened, now we need to get serious about this issue, stop splitting hairs in moments in time and decide whether or not a fetus is a living human being or not. I want our society to have to confront that decision! Liberals can say, if the fetus cannot survive outside the womb on its own then it is not alive. I would ask, what about an adult that cannot live outside the womb except on live support, is that person not alive? Who decides what is life and what is not? A judge? A doctor? A mother alone? Congress?

Dad Guilty of Microwaving 2 mos old Daughter

A young father was convicted Tuesday of badly injuring his infant daughter by putting her in a microwave, with jurors rejecting his claim that he was insane at the time.

Jurors deliberated about four hours before finding 20-year-old Joshua Mauldin guilty of felony injury to a child.

After the verdict, jurors began hearing testimony in the punishment phase of the trial. Mauldin faces anything from probation to life in prison.

Mauldin pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, saying he was having a psychotic episode when he put his then 2-month-old daughter, Ana, in a hotel microwave for 10 to 20 seconds last May while her mother and grandmother were away.

On the one hand, I’d seriously like to put this bastard in a giant mircowave and cook him well done. Adults killing or physically abusing kids and especially their own children are beneath all normal contempt. They are animals, like rabid dogs needing to be euthanized for the good of society.

On the other hand, I have a Special Needs boy I deal with every week at school with serious psychotic behavior episodes; I have seen this usually sweet, loving young boy of about 8 when the medications are wrong or the dosage off just slightly, and he can instantly become extremely violent to everyone, other students, teachers, even his own dearly loved mother. His mother tells me that when he is like that she looks in his eyes and doesn’t recognize him as her own child, he is some kind of animal. Note: His father is in prison for violent crimes and is psychotic as well.

So, my first instinct is to protect the child and if that requires killing the adult, so be it. Yet, seeing how psychotic episodes can so change even a child, I have some sensitivity for the nature of that horrible mental disease.

Wouldn’t it be nice if life was nice and tidy, black and white and easy to judge?

No Palestinian Negotians for Peace Allowed

New Usama bin Laden Tape Slams Palestinian Negotiations, Urges Holy War for Liberation.

I have been preaching this message ad naseum for a long time, there can be no hope of peace between Israel and the so-called Palestinians, not ever. No matter how many concessions Israel makes or how many Jews are killed. The total destruction of Israel and the annihilation of all Jews on earth is the only acceptable outcome for true Muslims, because that is what Mohammed, pretending to speak for the Mood God Alla demanded.

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com

In the audio excerpts broadcast by the Doha, Qatar-based television, bin Laden said that ”Palestine cannot be retaken by negotiations and dialogue, but with fire and iron.”

Bin Laden also called on Palestinians who are unable to fight in the “land of Al-Quds” — a Muslim reference to Jerusalem — to join the Al Qaeda fight and the holy war, or jihad, in Iraq.

Bin Laden also wants complete victory in Iraq, “The nearest field of jihad today to support our people in Palestine is the Iraqi field,” bin Laden said.

“We tell our brothers in Palestine who could not join the jihad in the land of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), to get rid of illusions of political parties and groups which are mired in trickery of the blasphemous democracy and to take their positions among the ranks of the mujahideen in Iraq,” he said.” and that is what Obama and other liberals want to hand him on a silver platter.

President Al Gore?

I proposed the possibility of the resurrection of Algore in the past few weeks, just based on my feelings; but today Sean Heannity had John Zogby on his show and Rasmussen.

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com

Both pollsters reported that roughly 24% of Democrats will not vote for Obama if he wins the nomination and the same percentage will not vote for Hillary if she wins. That would make it almost impossible for either to win the General Election, especially after a bitter floor fight.

Then Zogby shocked everyone by saying according to his sources that, by June at the latest the leaders of the Party would go to both candidates and try and get them to do the following: Obama would accept V.P. on Gore’s ticket and Hillary would be promised the Senate Majority leadership position.

Considering that most Democrats still insist that Algore won the 2000 election, I think the party would jump at giving him the office he earned, to their minds, and Obama at #2 would make a very attractive General Election ticket. What do you think?

Wouldn’t it be nice!

WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

“ My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world’s nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT’ll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hellholes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home . On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China.

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France, Germany, and Russia. Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don’t care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens or 20 thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put ‘em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we’ll be drilling for oil in Alaska - which will take care of this country’s oil needs for decades to come. If you’re an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, ‘darn tootin.’

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe yo u and we won’t forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America . Thank you and good night.”

10 million clicks to World Peace

The following, fascinating link about a program to bring about world peace through the internet was sent to me by a friend. I offer my opinions about it below the link:

www.tenmillionclicksforpeace.org

My thoughts:
How can there be peace at all, unless the Prince of Peace is at the center of it all?

They mention miracles, which by definition are supernatural, events outside chance or human intervention.

They mention a personal growth package, how can anyone improve on God’s Word as the perfect personal growth package, needing no improvements.

It is interesting to note that the Bible tells us at the time in human history when everyone on earth is crying our for and seeking world peace, suddenly global wide destruction of a Divine origin comes upon mankind, Thus, this very program and calls for world peace tell us we are near the end of human history.

Oh, and while most will call it biblical nonsense, the bible tells us that at this time when people are crying for and working towards world peace, a man will rise up promising to bring about that very peace, even seeming to work miracles towards that end, proving he can bring peace, but instead after everyone falls down to worship him, he will bring death to the world.

So, I hope you’ll understand that because of my Christian beliefs, I will not be joining this effort. But, I thought some of you might find it interesting!

Understanding A Marine

With one Marine with duty in Heaven (Tomorrows is the 3 year anniversary), two serving Marines (grandson and nephew), two old former serving Marines (me and my brother) and more in my family, when I got this I had to share it with you all. I have more bumper stickers, but this will give you the idea.

If you don’t understand this, you’ve never met a Marine!

Is Consensual Adult Incest Okay?

German High Court Takes a Look at Incest

Free Image Hosting at allyoucanupload.com

Must consensual sex between close relatives be punished? Germany’s highest court is about to rule whether incest will continue to result in a jail term. It is referring to the case of a brother and sister who have already had four children together.

Since Susan became pregnant with Patrick’s child and their relationship became known to the authorities, they have been prosecuted repeatedly. Their case touches an age-old taboo, it’s exotic and tragic at the same time. “Coitus between relatives” is illegal in German law and punishable with a fine or a jail sentence.

Patrick S. has served a jail sentence of more than two years because of his love for his sister, and he may have to go back to jail for at least another year, unless Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court rules in his favor. The verdict is expected soon.

The key issue is whether the protection of a powerful moral taboo is sufficient justification for punishment. And whether there are reasons beyond that taboo for locking someone up, for depriving children of their father, a woman of her partner.

First, should it be against the law to protect any subsequent children? Many say no, the risk is not that high; but this couple had four children: Two with severe mental problems, given over to Foster Care. One child had a severe heart problem corrected with surgery, although it could have just as easily resulted in death. The last child, thus far is considered normal. Quite frankly, to me that certainly provides strong evidence that procreation places their children at risk and poses an avoidable finacial burden on society.

Once, we open the door to approving incestuous marriages and sexual relationships, where is the justification for prohibiting other incestuous relationships; let us say, a normal male of a retarded female relative, based on the consensual nature of that relationship.

To me the worst implication is that the state once again is lowering the bar of what society considers appropriate moral standards-behavior, with the next step even easier and so on, until we can justify man-boy sexual relationships and/or marriages.
