There can be rational debates held about whether or not churches should have a tax exempt status and as a Christian, I am not in favor of it in the best interest of the Church. But, when groups like militant gays can “use” the IRS to intimidate (terrorize) pastors to keep them from speaking out in the pulpit on political issues (unless they are black churches supporting liberals of course), then it is the First Amendment which is under attack and that should cause every American great concern.
Christian churches in Maine whose leaders encouraged support for a referendum that repealed a law allowing same-sex marriage are being targeted in an intimidation campaign urging homosexuals to file complaints against them with the Internal Revenue Service.
A “Maine Marriage Equality” website that lobbied for the same-sex marriage measure is asking its followers to file the complaints.
You are probably already aware of churches that supported and actively promoted a ‘YES’ vote on Question 1. Please take the time to file an IRS complaint against them. Examples of supporting documentation to include with your complaint are pamphlets or other material created and/or distributed by the church or religious organization, photographs that show attempts to influence legislation (see below), witness statements or recordings of individuals who were aware of the campaign activities, and any other evidence that may prove a church or religious organization attempted to influence the public to vote ‘YES’ on Question 1.
With your help, we can reaffirm our Constitutional Separation of Church and State [A most damnable lie] and ensure that in the future, nobody’s civil rights are stripped away [Another damnable lie] by religious fanatics attempting to force their religion on all of us [A third most damnable lie!].
Named in IRS complaints for opposing same-sex ‘marriage’

Either the Bill of Rights, every part thereof, are sacrosanct and should be assiduously defended by every American or they are no longer a Bill of Rights at all, but only a list of privileges that can be withdrawn at anytime by the whim of whatever party is in power. If we allow Freedom of Religion to be undermined in the smallest way, then we have no cause for complaint of any kind when our Freedom of Speech or Freedom of the Press or prohibition against unlawful searches and seizures are no longer defended by our courts.
The homosexuals have thus far been 100% unable anywhere in America to convince the voters that marriage should be made available to them, even many liberals voting against that change in marriage. So being woefully unable to win their case based on the merits of their arguments, they are using the courts, state legislatures and now even the IRS to FORCE gay marriage upon the nation. This is by any reasonable measure acts of political violence (use of fear to force unpopular views on the majority).
Once again in this case, gay activists are advancing the lie that to deny them marriage is to deny them a civil right, when marriage is clearly a privilege granted by the individual states based on the minimum requirements set forth by the voters, not unlike for drivers, fishing or hunting licenses.
