Judge rules that green views are the ‘same as religious beliefs’ as sacked environmentalist wins legal battle

An environmentalist who claims he was fired for his views has won a landmark legal battle after a judge ruled being green was just as worthy of protection at work as religion.

’Green martyr’ Tim Nicholson, 42, claims he was dismissed after his bosses at showed contempt for his philosophical belief the earth faces ‘catastrophic climate change’.

Mr Nicholson also found fault with managers for driving ‘the most polluting cars on the road’ to client meetings at which they would explain their green policies.

Grainger contended his views were political and a ‘lifestyle choice’.

But a judge ruled employers should no more discriminate against workers for being green than for their religious or philosophical beliefs.

Mr Qureshi, head of employment law at Bindmans LLP, representing Mr Nicholson, said: ‘Vast numbers of people are now living their lives in accordance with their views on climate change and the environment.

’These are often deeply held views based on the premise that without change humanity will suffer. Tim Nicholson believes that people should be able to express such views without fear of retribution or discrimination.’

Mr Nicholson added: ‘I am grateful that Mr Justice Burton understood that deeply and genuinely held views about catastrophic climate change and the need to change our ways to protect the human race are philosophical views that are worthy of protection. Such views are more and more relevant to our planet’s survival.’

Only problem is, religious views there and here are no longer, as an earlier post on a man getting fired for expressing his religious views on homosexuality attest, protected by law on or off the job. If Greenies were treated as Christians they would have to shut up almost anywhere on the planet, but they are in fact given preferential rights there and here.

This is true Islam for those that believe we can appease them or that by peace they desire to live in peace with even one Jew left alive on earth. Obama and Madame Hillary are trying to force Israel to give more of their land and new settlements to pay the price for peace, but even if Mahdi Obama gives it all to them, they will still go about the world killing Jews and anyone that defends any Jew.

The network then cut to what appeared to be staged footage of a man dressed in Arab garb kissing a camel while another man wearing a white yarmulke attempts to kiss the camel, prompting the animal to try to bite the purported Jew.

“Animals can sense things,” explained Al-Ansari.

He continued, “God has filled people’s hearts with loathing for these [Jews]. The Al-Rahma program cuts to footage of an English league soccer game showing a Chelsea player kicking the Israeli soccer player Yossi Benayoun, who plays for Liverpool.

“Look at this Jew being kicked. People hate them. They don’t like them,” explained Al-Ansari, laughing.

A Massachusetts man has been fired from his sales position at the Logan Airport branch in Boston of Brookstone for allegedly for telling a female manager that his Christian faith says homosexuality is wrong.

Peter Vadala was fired and the company says he violated a tolerance policy. But Vadala reports his dismissal came because he expressed his Christian view of homosexuality after a female manager made repeated references as she approached him four times during work hours to her plans to marry her lesbian partner.

McGrath refused WND’s request to comment on the dispute. Instead she suggested Brookstone’s legal department be contacted. That department did not respond.

When contacted about the firing, store manager Katelyn Woodard said, “You need to speak to human resources about this and if you call this number again, I’ll file harassment charges.”

First they demanded toleration for their lifestyle choice, then they demanded acceptance of it as being normal, then that they be allowed to high jack marriage and now if you speak against them at work, even in non-gay marriage states, just an expression of one’s faith that homosexuality is wrong will cost you your job and under the new hate crimes law will cost you a fine and/or jail time. You are no longer, even under the 1st Amendment, allowed to express your faith or political views anywhere if they offend homosexuals.

It seems to me that even on the job, if one employee is allowed to express their personal beliefs, in this case in homosexuality being normal, it should be illegal to punish someone else expressing the opposite views in the same work place. Surely, that means companies are allowed to promote single moral-political views and deny others the right to hold opposite views.

Putting aside one’s faith as an issue, even if you are an atheist and hate Christians, any true conservative should be alarmed that free speech and thought is under such strong attacks in Obamaland!

I think he is! We debated international treaties having power over our constitution some time ago, the consensus was, with me on the opposite side, that any treaty we sign becomes part of our Constitution. I bow to that wisdom, now what do we do?

ACORN wants people to register to vote – as long as they’re Democrats. Republican registrations go into the trash.

Here is a first-hand account of how it happens. In February 2008, Fathiyyah Muhammad of Jacksonville, Florida, heard that ACORN was paying people three dollars for each voter they could register. ACORN paid her three dollars for each voter she registered, but Fatiyyah Muhammad says that the group threw out her votes and fired her when she brought them registrations of Republican voters.

She went to work: “Well, I went out and got a lot of people, homeless people, but of course I signed everybody up as a Republican, and I would have put people had they been Democrats.” She was not forcing people to sign up as Republicans: “You could put down anything you wanted.” But when she got back to ACORN, a group leader was not pleased: “So I showed what I had, and he said, “No, no, you a fraud, there can’t be any black Republicans,’ and oh, he just kind of hung me out to dry…. But of course their main aim was to register only Democrats. They’re not interested in registering Republicans.”

She saw ACORN officials in Jacksonville throw out the Republican registrations she made. “They just discarded those, they weren’t valid. All of the registrations… they just threw those out.” Yet she says that she is sure that the people she registered were actually going to vote: “Yes, they all were going to vote, I just didn’t want to get anybody just to get the three dollars, I wasn’t desperate for three dollars.”

This past Presidential election was not only the most racist (pro-Black) election in history, by all accounts it may have been the worst fraud. I don’t know if these kind of things made a difference, well except Minnesota, but it sure was the most unAmerican.

The global Muslim population stands at 1.57 billion, meaning that nearly 1 in 4 people in the world practice Islam, a landmark study has claimed.

The Pew Forum report also revealed that Germany has more Muslims than Lebanon - or North and South America combined.

It claimed that about five per cent of Europe’s population practises Islam - and that there are more Muslims living in Asia than in the Middle East.

Until now, experts have largely been guessing at the precise number of Muslims in the world, with estimates from one billion to 1.8 billion.

But the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life report, released today, finally pinpoints the number of those practicing the world’s second largest religion, behind Christianity.

The three-year-long project also provided some surprising statistics. For instance, Germany has more Muslims than Lebanon, China has more Muslims than Syria, Russia has more Muslims than Jordan and Libya combined, and Ethiopia has nearly as many Muslims as Afghanistan.

’This whole idea that Muslims are Arabs and Arabs are Muslims is really just obliterated by this report,’ said Amaney Jamal, an assistant professor of politics at Princeton University who reviewed an advance copy.

The report provides further evidence that while the heart of Islam might beat in the Middle East, its greatest numbers lie in Asia: More than 60 per cent of the world’s Muslims live in Asia.

It should alarm every non-Muslim that this aggressive, violence based religion dedicated to forced conversion of the world to Islam is now at 25% of the world’s population. In those nations wherein they gain enough converts, they have been successful in creating fear in those governments and thus policies directed at appeasing Islam to avoid violence. Increasingly this includes separate justice systems for Muslims.

There are now about 4 million Muslims in the United States, our prisons are being used to recruit and brainwash convicts of color to join their ranks. They are not afraid of sending U.S. Muslims to terror sponsoring Islamic states for training in terrorism.

We ignore the growth of Islam to our own peril, it is a social-religious cancer that will destroy us all unless we wake up to the threat.

Atheists recruited to be part of a lawsuit that is trying to rid government

The lawsuit was filed before President Obama’s inauguration and subsequently was dismissed at the district court level. Briefs now are being submitted to the appeals court in plaintiffs’ hopes the case will be reopened.

“I felt a temporary state of disconnection when these religious statements and prayers were made during the inauguration,” wrote another paintiff, according to an appendix of information submitted with the plaintiffs’ recent arguments in the case.

”All the prayers made me feel excluded from the political process and a second-class citizen,” wrote another. “But, when Chief Justice Roberts asked the president to say, ‘So help me God,’ I felt threatened and sick to my stomach.”

“The First Amendment cannot be divorced from common sense,” added Brad Dacus, president of PJI. “While atheists, humanists and freethinkers are a tiny minority in America, they are free to express and practice their lack of faith as they please.

“That does not mean,” he continued, “however, that the vast majority of God-fearing citizens and public officials must be silenced in order to appease them.”

In our brave new world every minority, no matter how small, have a right to silence the majority and force the majority to accommodate their views. Despite public prayers at government sponsored events being accepted since before the Constitution until 1962; since then we are now expected to turn away from that history and the expressed approval by the founders of our nation and every president, because a handful of atheists say so!

I doubt they will get their way at SCOTUS, but I expect the appeals courts to agree that such religious speech is unconstitutional and should be banned.

Since the Sixties, the pill made the sexual revolution possible, it made it possible to be as promiscuous as anyone wanted to be without fear of pregnancy. But, that medical marvel that prevented unwanted pregnancy had unintended consequences that, I believe, are not good for society.

The Pill may have changed women’s taste in men, according to a study.

Scientists say the hormones in the oral contraceptive suppress a woman’s interest in masculine men and make boyish men more attractive. Although the change occurs for just a few days each month, it may have been highly influential since use of the Pill began more than 40 years ago.

Dr Alexandra Alvergne, of the University of Sheffield, says the Pill could also be altering the way women pick their mates and could have long-term implications for society.

‘There are many obvious benefits of the Pill for women, but there is also the possibility that the Pill has psychological side-effects that we are only just discovering,’ she said. ‘We need further studies to find out what these are.’

The links between the Pill and sexual preferences are highlighted in a paper in the journal Trends in Ecology and Evolution.

On days when women are not fertile, their tastes swing towards more feminine, boyish faces and more caring personalities, researchers have shown.

However, if women are taking the Pill they no longer have fertile days.

That means they no longer experience the hormonal changes that make them more attracted to masculine men and those with dissimilar genetic make-up.

‘The ultimate outstanding evolutionary question concerns whether the use of oral contraceptives when making mating decisions can have long-term consequences on the ability of couples to reproduce.’ An increasing number of studies suggest that the Pill is likely to have an impact on human mating decisions and subsequent reproduction.

‘If this is the case, Pill use will have implications for both current and future generations, and we hope that our review will stimulate further research on this question,’ said Dr Lumma.

The changes caused by the pill may represent the ultimate feminization of society, a future unisexual human race. What is not known is why men increasingly are attracted to masculine appearing women.

Women have long wanted men to act more like them, be more feminine in their interactions with women, now because of the pill they even want them to look more feminine, baby faced, hairless, manicured and in every way more feminine. Women are demanding more control, more power and becoming less feminine in their actions and appearance.

I don’t know if humanity has a very long future left on this earth, but if it even lasts to the end of this century, will we have masculine women and feminine men? Will the genders have changed places?

The relationship between President Barack Obama and the commander of Nato forces in Afghanistan has been put under severe strain by Gen Stanley McChrystal’s comments on strategy for the war.

He told the Institute of International and Strategic Studies that the formula, which is favored by Vice-President Joe Biden, would lead to “Chaos-istan”.

When asked whether he would support it, he said: “The short answer is: No.”

He went on to say: “Waiting does not prolong a favorable outcome. This effort will not remain winnable indefinitely, and nor will public support.”

The remarks have been seen by some in the Obama administration as a barbed reference to the slow pace of debate within the White House.

The next day he was summoned to an awkward 25-minute face-to-face meeting on board Air Force One on the tarmac in Copenhagen, where the president had arrived to tout Chicago’s unsuccessful Olympic bid.

In an apparent rebuke to the commander, Robert Gates, the Defence Secretary, said: “It is imperative that all of us taking part in these deliberations, civilians and military alike, provide our best advice to the president, candidly but privately.”

When asked on CNN about the commander’s public lobbying for more troops, Gen Jim Jones, national security adviser, said:

“Ideally, it’s better for military advice to come up through the chain of command.”

Some commentators regarded the general’s London comments as verging on insubordination.

Bruce Ackerman, an expert on constitutional law at Yale University, said in the Washington Post: “As commanding general, McChrystal has no business making such public pronouncements.”

Actually, I do not fault Obama for being contemplative over the decision to commit more troops. He has a few weeks before making a decision without adversely impacting the war.

I believe in the chain-of-command and despite times in the past when generals have spoken out publicly, I believe that if McChrystal feels the CIC is making a mistake that will cost lives and/or the war, if he cannot get the right answers privately, he should get out of uniform before going public.

I have no respect for Gates or any of the anti-military types in the Obama Administration; and the idea of Mahdi Obama as CIC makes me sick; but, if we do not have order within the military we will not have an effective military at all. Sorry to the conservatives out there, but I think McChrystal, like Patton and others, needed to be slapped down for trying to force his military plans at the expense of decency and order within the ranks.

Oh, he is right about the needed troops and getting a decision soon!

”Gay” sex is morally good and is as “wonderful” as heterosexual relations, according to Chai Feldblum, President Obama’s nominee to become commissioner for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

”Gay sex is morally good,” she said. “Now you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say gay sex is good. But think a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good. Right. Heterosexual sex within a certain framework – marriage – I mean, you can’t get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is.”

Continued Feldblum: “If you’re not being cynical for the moment, I think that does reflect a correct understanding that sex is often a basic building block for intimacy and that intimacy and connections within couples and within families are integral building blocks for a healthy society.”

Feldblum is an outspoken homosexual rights activist and Georgetown law professor. Obama two weeks ago announced his intent to nominate Feldblum for commissioner of the EEOC. Feldblum previously served as legislative counsel to the AIDS Project of the American Civil Liberties Union and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, who famously authored the controversial Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.

Feldblum is not shy about her ideas for “revolutionizing” America’s workplace and the country’s social mores.

Is it in the best interest of America for public (federal) appointees to advocate for changing social mores and thereby the American workplace? Obama has appointed many people that are out-and -out social revolutionaries, on a mission to change America to reflect their personal moral positions.

Feldblum takes an long time argument on behalf of traditional families, as being building blocks for a healthy society, and then she perverts that truth to include people engaging in abnormal sexual relations. The problem is, homosexuals are not and can never be healthy families and thus never building blocks of a healthy society.

Homosexuality is a promiscuous lifestyle choice, most such people having dozens to hundreds of sexual partners in a lifetime, representing temporary, partial family units that last until the sex gets old and then another and another and another, never providing stable family units for the children involved. They cannot provide the balance of male and female parental role models to teach them how to live according to the peculiar needs of their own gender. More often than not the children are exposed to many homosexual predators coming into and then leaving the family, and that has resulted in a great percentage of children experimenting in both homosexuality and heterosexuality and in that they have been ill served by not having proper parental role models.

Los Angeles, 2009: California may be the eighth largest economy in the world, but its state staff are being paid in IOUs, unemployment is at its highest in 70 years, and teachers are on hunger strike. So what has gone so catastrophically wrong?

California has a special place in the American psyche. It is the Golden State: a playground of the rich and famous with perfect weather. It symbolises a lifestyle of sunshine, swimming pools and the Hollywood dream factory.

But the state that was once held up as the epitome of the boundless opportunities of America has collapsed. From its politics to its economy to its environment and way of life, California is like a patient on life support. At the start of summer the state government was so deeply in debt that it began to issue IOUs instead of wages. Its unemployment rate has soared to more than 12%, the highest figure in 70 years. Desperate to pay off a crippling budget deficit, California is slashing spending in education and healthcare, laying off vast numbers of workers and forcing others to take unpaid leave. In a state made up of sprawling suburbs the collapse of the housing bubble has impoverished millions and kicked tens of thousands of families out of their homes. Its political system is locked in paralysis and the two-term rule of former movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger is seen as a disaster – his approval ratings having sunk to levels that would make George W Bush blush. The crisis is so deep that Professor Kenneth Starr, who has written an acclaimed history of the state, recently declared: “California is on the verge of becoming the first failed state in America.”

People are leaving this state, my home state, at record numbers, businesses bailing out every day. A school, system that was already #47 out of 50, has made drastic cuts in education in billions of dollars. Unemployment here is at a record pace, and agriculture is failing. We are large enough economically to be a member of G8 and we are going bankrupt.

Their solution? Higher taxes, IOU’s, big lay-offs of state employees, a “green” business plan for the future and more of the disastrous liberal social engineering programs that have driven us into the poor house. They don’t give a damn about the will of the people, they disregard the law, they are killing agriculture, driving business out with high taxes, high personal income taxes and a housing industry that is seeing 25% of mortgages fall behind.

The liberals are in charge here and they are killing California and I don’t see anything to indicate they are seeing the light.

WASHINGTON (AP)—Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan predicted on Sunday that the jobless rate will pass 10 percent and stay there for a while, and a second stimulus plan is not needed now.

He spoke favorably of extending unemployment benefits and tax credits for health insurance, options the Obama administration is considering for helping people laid off during the recession. With more than 15 million people out of work, unemployment reached 9.8 percent in September, the highest rate in 26 years.

“Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., said an energy bill promoted by Democrats could serve as a jobs stimulus because it focuses on using venture capital to fund “clean energy” jobs.”

Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., said Democrats would best help the economy by supporting targeted tax relief and dropping “job killers” such as the proposed cap-and-trade approach to climate change and a health care bill that he said would raise taxes on small businesses.

It is my belief that like California, the problem lies in our attitudes towards business that are killing jobs and that as the debt grows that alone will kill economic growth and will result in a great percentage of these jobs never coming back at all.

Virtually everything Obama and the Demoncrats are doing is counterproductive to job growth and just wait until tax increases hit everyone along with health insurance mandates and I think it will take several decades, if we get off this current treadmill now, for the economy to ever start recovering to the levels of the past 2+ decades.

Despite all the support for him from the Secretary of Education and failure to condemn his past by Obama, Kevin Jennings, Obama’s falsely called “Safe Schools” Czar was an admirer of Harry Hay, the Founder of NAMBLA:

A transcript from a 1997 speech shows Office of Safe Schools chief Kevin Jennings in the U.S. Department of Education expressed his admiration for Harry Hay, one of the nation’s first homosexual activists who launched the Mattachine Society in 1948, founded the Radical Faeries and was a longtime advocate for the North American Man-Boy Love Association, NAMBLA.

“One of the people that’s always inspired me is Harry Hay,” the transcript shows Jennings saying, “who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America. In 1948, he tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society. It took him two years to find one other person who would join.

“Well, [in] 1993,” Jennings continued, “Harry Hay marched with a million people in Washington, who thought he had a good idea 40 years before.”

Jennings should have to go! Despite his reported excellent education credentials, his past open support for a person that founded and believes in sexual relations between grown homosexual men and young boys, IMO, makes him morally unfit to associate with school children. It is more and more evident that Safe Schools was never his goal, but rather using out tax dollars and schools to promote homosexuality as being normal and to recruit the next generation of sexual victims for the homosexual community.
