Momentum from October 20th event held here in The Clay Empire in Princeton, Minnesota is blossoming into events across this Nation.  Inspired by what the Grizzly Groundswell’s Chad Everson has orchestrated between the divide of the Right, Left and Third Party, others are quietly starting to ask how they can replicate this template in their own Backyards.

to assist in helping you bring a more diverse and interesting gathering to your backyard.  It takes some courage to invite your enemy and third party strangers to your home.  However, since I have always traveled the path less traveled, it has made all the difference in the world.

I encourage you to do this all across the Nation.  I am calling for action from our Grizzly Groundswell Governors, International Presidents, Readership and our enemies to try this experiment in your own backyard.

I had a great vantage point for this event, because I was the host and seed planter that orchestrated this event into being.  Ryan Evans our Grizzly Groundswell Governor of Wisconsin and Author of A [sometimes] Logical View of the Illogical and Bruce Benidt of Same Rowdy Crowd Started this ball rolling.  They were at ends when the 35W Bridge collapsed.  They set up a time to meet and had coffee to discuss their differences.  They actually left that coffee shop, not solving any problems but a general understanding of respect and fondness for each other’s company.  Moonbats and the ditto head seemed not to fit as easily as it did before they talked.  They also Stepped into action and wrote about it utilizing the Blog media.

Enter myself, stage Right.  Ryan, a regular contributor to the Grizzly Groundswell as our Wisconsin Governor, peeked my interest after reading his post.  I then followed the links over to the left’s “dark side” and found a compelling opportunity!  I commented on one and alls posts to gauge the waters.  When I found that this story was not only interesting me but many with all the hits, I proposed we continue the conversation.  I have utilized art and clay all my life as a mediator, or a tool to unlock deep faithful discussion and simply put ministry.  I knew that if I could provide the right bait, I could set the hook and reel this one in to not only benefit myself, but maybe politic in general for this nation.

So I offered my home studio, The Clay Empire and Clay and my Raku Firing process as a shared experience that we could bounce off into continuing the conversation.  Immediately, Bruce was onboard, Ryan soon followed.  Then, there was this interesting blog that also chimed in that was entitled Across The Great Divide that Charlie Quimby writes.  My initial concept was for Ryan to pick 3 conservative and Bruce 3 Democrat and I 3 interesting and maybe even challenging participants.  My focus was more on creating a network or a movement just like the Grizzly Groundswell is a movement even more so then a blog.  It is action, not just pontification.  So I invited Charlie Quimby as it seemed that Charlie could help facilitate while I was busy with the kiln and hospitality concerns.  Bruce invited him also, so I am sure he had to accept!  And he did.

Greetings from Grizzly Groundswell!

As you know the left is trying to catch up to the right with their paid blog presence.  Why go to the expense of faking a poll when you can pay someone to fake a blog, I am sure that is what the left thinks.  Well, it maybe that easy, but running your own blog and connecting with the outside world is just not that easy.

It is all about traffic.

How did your favorite blog get your imagination ignited enough to visit?

Traffic is essential in any online presence.  This is the one area you can improve daily.  Be careful not to forget about content otherwise, Rush could mention your blog on his show, shut your server down and if you do not have content, no one will return!

It is all about content.

Whether it is humorous or a portal of knowledge, a blog needs content that changes regularly, so that it encourages your return trip.  This is where a great coalition of blogs helps feed the creative juices.  Find resources that your friends have not found yet.  Search other locations and seek out friends of varying intelligences about diverse subject area’s.  Pull on your own interests and never forget to stay fresh and creative.

It is all about commitment.

There are a lot of blogs out there that may suck me in with one good article I googled up.  Then I look at the last time they updated or posted and it has been years!  Not a blog I am going to bookmark, subscribe or even think about commenting on!  It is not easy coming up with great tidbits to share with the world, but at least give it a go!  I feel blogs should be updated daily and no later then three days.

All in all, find a way to drive traffic to your blog with content and your commitment to Growl like the Grizzly Groundswell is inspiring you to do!  If you do not want your own blog, find some to comment on and give those blogs some much appreciated traffic.  You will be surprised how many doors open and how you can really change your political landscape outside your backdoor and across the globe if you only Awaken to the Blog world, Stand Up for Conservative thought, Step into action blogging or commenting and rewarding your favorite conservative blogs with traffic.

A Blog that inspired me, is http://www.pheistyblog.com/  Pheisty really stepped forward and did a great article on the Big MN Media Bias that was revealed for all 18,000 of us that signed the Jason Lewis Tax Cut Coalition Petition. Sign up yourself today! 7-8,000 of us shook the steps of the state capital and we dwarfed the thousand Global Greenies that had Amy Klobuchar & Keith Ellison speaking at them.  The Press coverage was pathetic, and WCCO even tried to use our rally footage and represented it as the Global Greenie rally.  It really Awoke me to the power and virtue of the blog media.  The Big Media has no check and balance besides the toothless Minnesota News council.  It is out of control.  Although the blog medium has allowed us to stand up for what is right and I hope you step into action like PheistyBlog inspired me to do.

Together, PheistyBlog, Grizzly Groundswell, SCSU Scholoars, Say Anything Blog we can make a difference and change our political landscape outside our backdoors, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota respectively.

The Great American Story You Never Read in North Dakota History Books!



One House Representative is AWAKENED to the fact that his party is corrupt and the membership is not getting any say on policy or even the legislation they are mandated to bring forward.

One North Dakota Farmer decides to STAND UP to the socialist Non Partisan League Machine.

One Immigrant STEPS INTO ACTION pulling together his colleagues and they thoughtfully craft a petition demanding representation of the membership, elections for Party offices, Clear office job descriptions and accountability of all funds and job performance to the membership.

One E. W. Everson CHANGED HIS POLITICAL LANDSCAPE IN HIS BACKYARD by leading the charge to challenge A. C. Townley’s Leadership of the Non Partisans League in North Dakota, Expose it’s corruption, and bring the socialist NPL to it’s knees.

My Great Grandfather founded the Independent Voters Association and with the help of some brave friends and patriots endured the Townley Tornado of personal destruction and exposed the corruption and recalled the first Governor, Lynn Frazier, of any state in America.  Only Grey out Davis from California, shares this dubious distinction.

Thus, E. W. Everson’s story inspired this great grandson to create the Grizzly Groundswell!  The Grizzly Groundswell is meant to get the inspirational story of this Immigrant farmer who served his country as a justice of the peace and then answered the call to represent his area in the house.  However, the greatest thing he ever did besides his family and children was derailing Townley just before socialism was organizing nationally!  E. W. Everson pulled Conservatives in the Republican Abraham Lincoln Party, the independent parties and even the Democratic party to construct the Independent Voters Association.  They derailed the Townley socialist express that was heading toward Washington and then they just dismantled the IVA and lived out their days.

You and I know that the NPL re-spawned it’s socialist head and is now the DEM-NPL that infects North Dakota and the Democratic Party is national. 

This socialist monster can be defeated!

I know a man who once did just that.  Now the blood of that man flows through the veins of countless Americans all over this great country.  Patriotism and Christian Values are shared by a great many of us Americans.  The Grizzly Groundswell Conservative Thought into Action and E. W. Everson’s story is forming before your eyes and is asking you to become apart of it in your own backyard.  I am working hard here in Minnesota, Looking for others all over America, especially in North Dakota where my heart is.

We just ask that you become politically awakened to the competing parties and fight socialism.

We ask that you STAND UP in your local institutions for conservative thought!  Right is Right, wrong is wrong even if it for the kids!

We ask that you STEP INTO ACTION in your local Republican BPOU and take back our party one backyard at a time!

In doing this, I assure you,YOU WILL BE CHANGING THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE IN YOUR BACKYARD!

If you and I can Grizzly Groundswell enough conservative’s in thought and action, then this great country will continue to be that shining city on the hill that previous patriots entrust to us to maintain.
