To say this guy is a piece of work is an understatement. There he is on the parade ground in another country acting like he is the leader of the USA. How can anyone consider him to be a credible candidate or leader for the DNC. DNC Dean belongs in Canada with his leftist views its sickening, I am surprised he didn’t entertain the audience with his anti American rethoric. I am surprised he didn’t attack bush in this clip.

Lets not forget who we are dealing with. 9/11 seems like a long time ago. The Dems have been trying to tell us that we are the problem.

Ried connected to Jack Abramoff

According to press reports today and yesterday, convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff has named incoming Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as someone he influenced while lobbying on behalf of Indian gambling interests.  Abramoff claims that approximately $30,000 in donations to Reid resulted in his support for these gambling interests.

This is an important development in the Abramoff probe and should be investigated in an exhaustive manner.  The American public deserves to hear the full story so that both sides may be called to account. The Democrats were emphatic that Abramoff and his cronies needed to be exposed – I hope they will have the courage to continue that call now that one of their own is implicated.

Ethics will and should be an important issue for the incoming Congress and it is important that party leaders are able to facilitate the debate in an honest and forthright manner.  I look forward to the upcoming debate on ethics reform and hope that the Congress takes bold action to preserve the legitimacy of our government institutions.

I guess Jack wasn’t kidding when he said that this was going to go deeper before he was done. Is Dorganoff next? I would be willing to bet the Liberal media will not go after Reid. They will stay clear of this one.

Here is an interesting turn of events, Anti American and leftist rag the New Yorks Times had an article where they interviewed newly elected democratic house member Chris Carney who says there was a link between AlQaeda and Iraq. Hum, thats funny Dems have been lecturing the American people that there was no link.

In the summer and fall of 2002, Mr. Carney was at the center of the storm, briefing George J. Tenet, then the director of central intelligence, and Stephen J. Hadley, then the deputy national security adviser, on the Feith unit’s assessment of any links between Iraq and Al Qaeda. At the time, the unit was creating controversy within the government for arguing that there was significant evidence of ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda.

Ultimately, the Bush administration emphasized the threat the United States supposedly faced from Iraq’s unconventional weapons as the primary justification for invading, while the Iraq-Qaeda connection gradually faded as a major talking point. In 2004, the independent Sept. 11 commission said it had seen “no evidence” that the contacts “ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship,” challenging the administration’s prewar assertions.

Today, Mr. Carney says he still believes there were links between Iraq and Al Qaeda, although he is careful not to overstate them.

“On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 was no connection and 10 was operational control, I would say it’s about a 2½,” he said in an interview. “It was a relationship of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer,” he added. “Saddam was a savvy guy, and I think he wanted to make sure that if Al Qaeda someday became a force, that he wanted to keep his options open. I thought that there was a relationship. Whether it was strong enough to go to war, that’s the president’s decision.”

So I am confused now a mouth piece for the DNC is saying that there is a link.
