Personally I think that Barbara Boxer is nothing more than a democratic shill and one of the pettiest members of the senate. Boxer could at least show some respect when addressing a high-ranking cabinet minister of the Bush administration. If someone from the right would have dared address someone from the Clinton administration the left wing MSM would have been in full spin mode.

Of course the MSM will never give this story full coverage and will poo poo as being a lot to do about nothing, I wouldn't be surprised if the story is just looked at as two woman sparing and having a political cat fight.

Here is a suggestion to the Democratic shills, trying following some of the basic rules of human behavior and show some respect. Of course these rules don't apply to the left wing zealots; thats because the left will never show any respect for Bush or any member of his administration because they have the MSM in their back pocket to spin their side of the truth. Of course the Left Wing MSM will always see their side of the story and counter act anything this president has to say. Of course I don’t expect anything less from the Blame America first crowd.

Since Day one the Left has vilified Condelezza Rice, they have mocked her, disrespected her and held her in contempt. If a right-winger senator had treated a secretary of state from the left the way the democratic leaders have treated Rice there would be fur flying or they would probably hold some meaningless hearings.

Toys R Us Caves to Pressure.

AP, NEW YORK Monday, Jan 08, 2007, Page 1 After coming under fire for denying a Chinese-American infant a US$25,000 prize in a New Year’s baby contest because her mother was not a legal US resident ,(Its illegal Alien, she wasn’t in the USA legally, that makes illegal) the Toys “R” Us Co said that it had reversed its decision.

The company said on Saturday evening that it would award each of the three babies in the grand prize pool of the “First Baby of the Year Sweepstakes” a US$25,000 savings bond. Toys “R” Us is the parent company of Babies “R” Us, which sponsored the contest.

Toys “R” Us, which opened its first store in China less than a month ago, changed its mind after Chinese-American advocates protested and the story was reported in ethnic newspapers and the New York Times among other media outlets.

“We love all babies,” the company said in a written statement on Saturday. “Our sweepstakes was intended to welcome the first baby of 2007 and prepare for its future. We deeply regret that this sweepstakes became a point of controversy.”

The prize was originally supposed to go to Yuki Lin, who was born at the stroke of midnight at New York Downtown Hospital, hospital officials said.

She won a random drawing with two other babies for the US$25,000 savings bond, Toys “R” Us spokeswoman Kathleen Waugh said.

The Wayne, New Jersey company had said it would go to the first American baby born this year.

Yuki was born a US citizen. But the company disqualified her because “the sweepstakes administrator was informed that the mother of the baby born at New York Downtown Hospital was not a legal resident of the United States,” Waugh said.

Although promotional materials called for “all expectant New Year’s mothers” to apply, Waugh said eligibility rules required babies’ mothers to be legal residents.

Many sweepstakes have such requirements, Waugh added.

Attempts to reach Yuki’s parents, Liu Yanzhu and Lin Han, 22, were unsuccessful on Saturday. Their immigration status was not clear.

The original prize was instead awarded to runner-up Jayden Swain, born 19 seconds after midnight at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Chinese-American advocates had complained that the toy company’s decision smacks of second-class citizenship.

Typical, the company was going to not give the woman the prize becaus she was an illegal immigrant.

Maybe they need to sell a reality pill on the Internet so that once the person takes one they actually see the reality of just what this planet is now experiencing firsthand that isn’t waiting for all of the inconsequential speculation to be completed. Perhaps then there would be more time spent now by us actually taking action as citizens rather than droning on Internet blogs about who else must do this or that for them, or what their DUTY is.

Here come the Democrats to Steal Your Money. 

The Minnesota Senate wants you to give the state more money — and wants to give you universal health care, all-day kindergarten, better roads, lower property taxes and investments in the arts and natural resources in exchange.

In several bills introduced Thursday, the Democrat-controlled Senate proposed raising the statewide sales taxes by 3/8 of a cent for every dollar spent on taxable goods, boosting the gas tax by 10 cents and increasing vehicle registration fees, which could go up by as much as $100 for pricey new vehicles. It also proposed allowing counties to impose a wheelage tax of up to $20 per vehicle and allowing metro counties to impose a new ½-cent sales tax for transportation projects.

The bills would put caps on the growth of health care premiums, fund more transit options, grant families an early education allowance and increase state aid to cities, counties and schools to reduce rapidly rising property taxes.

The Senate’s ambitious agenda will run into some opposition from tax-averse Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty and others.

Here comes the democrats; and they and their merry band of thiefs are going to be stealing from the hard working to give it to the poor, sick, lame, lazy and oh yeah lets not forget the poor illegal aliens because God knows they deserve to have social security benifits and drivers liscenses too.

Tallahassee, FL – The Christine Jennings campaign today filed an appeal to overturn Circuit Judge William Gary’s decision to deny access the iVotronic hardware and software, including the source code.  According to experts for both sides in this case, at least 3,000 more voters in Florida’s Thirteenth District intended to cast their ballots for congressional candidate Christine Jennings than for her opponent.

“It’s unfortunate that there is more concern about protecting a company’s profits than about protecting the voters,” said Jennings.  “The only way to end the crisis in confidence among American voters is to end the secrecy surrounding the voting machines.”

See we told you so, when they don’t get the results they want they scream bloody murder, I predicted this would happen and it has, Goon.

“By ignoring the basic principle that the plaintiff is entitled to get the evidence before having to prove its case, Judge Gary is putting the cart before the horse,” said Jennings attorney Kendall Coffey.  “The ruling sweeps away the testimony of the country’s leading expert on undervotes, Dr. Charles Stewart of MIT, and sets an alarming precedent that a plaintiff must present the evidence before it even has access to the evidence.”

“Both sides agree that thousands of votes were not counted and that those lost votes changed the outcome of this race,” added Coffey.  “We need to find out exactly what suppressed those votes, and we feel that the rights of Florida’s voters to have their votes count – and be counted accurately – is paramount in this case.  We are confident that the appellate court will see it that way, too.”

The Butcher of Bagdad is dead. Saddam is dead.

This is good news. Finally justice has been served. Saddam was hanged in the Green Zone tonight. Personally I was hoping it would be in one of his many palaces that were erected all over Iraq.

Hillary Disavows Her Iraq War Vote

Sen. Hillary Clinton has for the first time said she would not have voted to authorize the 2002 attack on Iraq if she had known then what she knows now.

Previously the likely presidential candidate in 2008 has said that if the Senate had all the information it has today — about Iraq’s weapons program and the current difficulties in pacifying the nation, for example — there would never have been a vote on the Senate floor.

During a Dec. 18 appearance on NBC’s “Today” show, Clinton repeated that refrain. But this time she added: “And I certainly wouldn’t have voted that way.”

Clinton’s change of heart regarding the war comes as she is facing an increasing threat from Sen. Barack Obama, who as a state official in Illinois, spoke out against the Iraqi invasion as Clinton was voting for it.

Two of her other potential presidential rivals, Sens. John Kerry and John Edwards, also voted to authorize the invasion, but then publicly declared they had made a mistake and called for troops withdrawals.

As recently as September, when Clinton was asked on ABC’s “Nightline” about supporters who wanted her to say she was sorry for voting for the war, Hillary stated: “I don’t think that’s responsible.”

And in June, Clinton was actually booed during a Washington appearance when she said it was wrong to set a strict timetable for a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

I was almost shocked today when I saw this article in the Star and Trib. Then I regained focus and realized that I was talking about a leftist rag that never gave anything right a center a fair shake.

I don’t get this leftist rag, what part of identity theft and in this country illegally do these people not understand. It is a crime to be in this country illegally. People that work and don’t pay taxes are causing a strain on social services. Maybe we should like some of these people from the Star Tribune give up their documents so some other illegal aliens can do one of the many shitty jobs our country has to offer.

Business was bad. Real bad.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens. Let the Deportations begin, what you don't have any family in your native country, not my problem.

If they can come to this country to raise Hell and demonstrate by the thousands, WHY can’t they take charge over the corruption in their own country?

I always laugh when I hear Democratics sat that they want to give drivers liscense to illegal aliens so they aren't breaking the law when they drive. Come on you can't be serious. They are in this country illegall. No doubt the dems want them to have liscenses so they can then turn around and vote democratic.

Dems want to solve problems by giving benifits to people that don’t even have a legal status here and their solution for all societies problems is lets redistribute the wealth by taking money away from the rich to give handouts to non citizens.

A Jennings spokesman said the results of the Sentinel analysis are consistent with what the Democrats have been saying all along.

“That reflects what we’ve seen anecdotally,” David Kochman said. “The overwhelming majority of reports of voters having problems say they were trying to vote for Christine Jennings. It’s nearly unanimous.”

I saw this story on Fox News during Hannity and Colmes last night, how far the left will go to cloud the issue, just never ceases to amaze me. They have stooped to a new low. The Democrats are the masters of stealing elections, in 2006 the democrats actually managed to steal an election in Washington State.

I think its funny when a republican candidate wins an election the left immediately calls for a recount, and threatens lawsuits. In this Florida state election the state has already had like three or four recounts in this race, now they want to have a statistical analysis. call for law suits but when the Dems win it’s all good. Hypocrites. I love it what when people say that they have seen something anecdotally, meaning its implied but they have no proof what so ever. It’s a buzz word pseudo scientists use.

Now, as he seeks another presidential term in an election Sunday, he is telling Venezuelans this is only the beginning of his effort to remake Venezuela as a socialist oil power.

Chavez predicts a “hurricane” victory that will secure a mandate for zero compromise on policies that inspire both adulation and despair. Having survived a coup, a recall referendum, a general strike and clashes with the Roman Catholic Church, business community and opposition media, he has entrenched his power and sharpened left-right divides beyond Venezuela’s borders.

Chavez first came to prominence as a paratroop commander leading a failed coup attempt in 1992, and was elected six years later on a wave of discontent with Venezuela's corrupt political elite. He promises a new "21st-century socialism" which aims to redistribute the country's oil wealth to the poor, mainly through programs that provide everything from subsidized food to cash benefits for single mothers.

Chavez has consolidated as much power as a democracy can credibly permit: His allies have near-total control of state offices, congress and the judiciary; he has increased state control over the oil industry; he got the constitution changed to allow him a second term and wants to change it again to abolish term limits altogether, allowing him to stay in office beyond 2012.
