Jeff Jarvis has been defending himself a lot lately. It appears to be increasingly hard to be a patriotic Democrat. He's getting charges of, "right-wing media gadfly", "a self-styled evangelist for right-wing bloggers", and Oliver Willis' famous insult of "stupid". Jeff took him to task for that one. Speaking of Oliver, he sure seems to like the word stupid. stupid stupid stupid Someone get this man a dictionary! stupid stupid stupid stupid It just becomes a big blur after awhile.stupidSTUPIDstupidSTUPID ...yawn.. stupid stupid idiot Hey! We got a new word!

I'm done now. Someone should buy him a thesaurus or something. He's acting pretty stupid.

Okay...what was I talking about? Oh yeah. Jeff Jarvis and the claim that he's "right-wing".

What does my right-wing look like?
: I voted for John Kerry, though reluctantly.
: I voted for Bill Clinton, eagerly.
: I am dying to vote for Hillary Clinton.
: I vote Democratic in local races in my corner of New Jersey, when they have the guts to run.
: I am pro-choice.
: I opposed the Bush tax cuts.
: I am against school vouchers.
: I am for gay marriage and quit the Presbyterian Church over its bigotry against gays.
: I am for universal health care.
: I fight for free speech in America and elsewhere.
: I wrote a cover story for The Nation.

I guess that's too "right-wing" these days in the Democratic core.
