Went to see National Treasure last night with my lady. It was actually pretty great, though I can see where it was heavily inspired by the story from The Da Vinci Code.

Was it historically plausible? Not in the least. Was it scientifically plausible? Nope, not at all. Was it fun? Sure was.

For me it had just the right mix of interesting (though implausible) plot and suspenseful action sequences. Plus it had Diane Krueger in it which is, you know, always a plus. Man she's a hottie. Even my girlfriend thought so.

I almost went crazy and bought stubs for Alexander at the ticket counter, but I didn't. Everything I've heard of Alexander makes it sound like three hours about a famous war lord with very little war in it. So I think I made the right decision.
