Mother of the Year Passover

ND NEWS

I don't think I was blogging when this case hit the wires but when it resurfaced again this week I couldn't help but take a shot at this repulsive woman. Last December a pregnant Rita Kay Taylor, 26, was arrested by the Moorhead (MN) police with an unreal 0.399 blood alcohol level. I think if I remember correctly from my Drug/Alcohol courses in college that the lethal rate is around 0.450 (when 50% of subjects die).

Anyways there was actually nothing illegal about her being so drunk at 8 months pregnant so she wasn't charged with a crime (If she could kill the damn thing at an abortion clinic legally, what's wrong with getting it tanked?) The county has finally taken action to get that child into another home thank God.

THE FORUM
The Clay County Attorney's Office filed papers in Clay County District Court seeking to permanently terminate Rita Kay Taylor's parental rights and a hearing on the matter is set for July 8.

Taylor's son, Emmanuel, has been in a foster home since leaving the hospital in March.

I distinctly remember the headline in the Fargo Forum the morning after this incident, "Repugnant But Not Illegal." It really got me fired up. If they see this as "repugnant" yet agree with it not being illegal, why not just put a picture of the Red River Woman's Clinic on the front page every single day with the same headline?

If getting an unborn baby tanked is repugnant then what about just crushing its head in with forceps? What about piercing its skull with a scissors and opening the scissors to vacuum out the brains? I think I'd rather be drunk.
