That’d be ok, right? No big deal?  Just one of those crazy “crossing of the paths,” right?

It wouldn’t be ok with me, because as much as I oppose abortion (I think it’s murder), I don’t support the use of violence, fear and intimidation in politics.

So I wouldn’t support John McCain (I’m not supporting him now, but for other reasons) if he had the sort of relationship with an abortion clinic bomber that Obama has with Ayers.  And it puzzles me that Obama gets a pass for associating with Ayers who he clearly new was an unrepentant, bomb-setting radical.

But maybe it’s not that puzzling.  Obama is a liberal, and so he gets held to a different standard than McCain.

Associating with bomb-setting left-wing radicals is acceptable.  Associating with bomb-setting right-wing radicals shouldn’t be.
