Here's a photo of two American soldiers posing behind a pyramid of naked Iraqi prisoners.

Not exactly our proudest moment. Yet the soldiers responsible for incidents like these are being tried and punished even as you read this and steps are being taken to ensure nothing like it ever happens again.
Now here's a photo of our countrymen and women throwing themselves to their deaths to escape the burning infernos inside the World Trade Center:

Here's a photo of a terrorist holding a gun to the had of Daniel Pearl before his throat was slit.

And don't ever forget what they did to Nick Berg.
See the difference? We're not perfect. Even among our troops (who I consider to be the cream-of-the-crop of our nation) there are criminals and genuinely evil people, but when you consider the bottom line you cannot deny that America stands for freedom and justice. We are the good guys. Those who we oppose in Iraq and other places in the world are not. And I'm not talking about those who simply disagree with us. I'm talking about those who would further their causes with murder, destruction and terrorism.
