I don't remember whether this guy is on SA commenter Reality Based Bob's hall of shame or not, but here's another hole in the Democrat's narrative for the "Republican culture of corruption[tm]": Former [Democrat] Alabama Governor, Business Exec Convicted in Bribery Scheme

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Former Gov. Don Siegelman and former Health South CEO Richard Scrushy were convicted Thursday in a bribery scheme that derailed Siegelman's campaign to retake his former office.

On the face of it, the idea of returning to power on the assumption that members of the opposing party are some how naturally more prone to corruption is quite a breathless one to me. It just shows really that the Democratic Party has no better ideas returning to power than they do for running the country once they've returned to power.
