Last Friday Senator Conradwide skipped a vote on the mortgage company bailout bill.  I assumed at the time it was because of his conflict of interest since he took a $10,000 tax free gift from Countrywide Mortgage.

Earlier today Kent Conrad voted on a procedural motion to keep the bailout in motion. It looks like he’s over his guilty feeling.

I’m glad someone can count on him.
