This tax should serve as a lesson to all Americans. The next time some politician at any level of government is trying to sell you on a temporary tax to fund one project or another don't believe him/her. Temporary tacks are almost never temporary. Once they get that hand in your wallet or purse most politicians aren't inclined to take it back out.
