Check out this law currently making its way through Congress. As near as I can tell it seeks to set up a commission that would act as a PR firm for Congress to improve the public's "confidence" in the legislative branch.

Here's the part that's funny:

SEC. 10. FUNDING.

There are authorized such sums as necessary to carry out this Act.

Do you think maybe the propensity of Congress to hand out blank checks to projects like this one may be one reason the public lacks confidence in those politicians?
