I've been away from the computer most of the evening (this comic struck a little too close to home, so I took my woman out to dinner and a movie to convince myself that I can quit this blogging stuff any time I want) so it is just now that I've watched Fitzgerald's press conference.

Here's what I take out of it: The first question Fitzgerald answered from the press tells me that that this investigation ends with Libby. The media is playing up the fact that Fitzgerald is "keeping the investigation open," but I think it's pretty evident that this isn't going anywhere else. The left and their media buddies, of course, have a vested interest in keeping this thing hanging over the Bush administration for as long as possible, but I'm not buying the hype. Fitzgerald said that the bulk of the investigation is over.

That's not something you say when you're planning on bringing charges against the President's right-hand man.
