My name's Robbie Port. I'm from Minot, North Dakota, a "middle-sized town in the middle of the middlewest,"as that great country band Alabama so artfully put it.
I'm not sure how much this first post will even be read, but eventually I hope that a few people wander in and read what I have to say and if I'm lucky enough provide me with some feedback.
I'm an opinionated person and I hope to use this blog as a relief valve so that my girl doesn't have to deal with constant blubbering about baseball, politics or current events.
I am also a rabid history fan. I have 3 "history channels" through my cable service and I watch all of them religiously.
I hope to be able to post to this website with my Palm Pilot, but I haven't quite figured that out yet. Heck, I I'm not even quite sure what all this "template" business is yet.
