Stocks are looking weak Wednesday morning after Democrats seized control of the House of Representatives in midterm elections and came close to taking the Senate with two race tallies outstanding.
About an hour before the start of trading, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures had fallen 28 to 12160. The S&P 500 futures declined 5.1 to 1383.9, and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 7.75 to 1744.
Ok, it’s a little premature to start blaming the Dems for drops in the stock market, but still. It’s pretty telling.
