I'm not sure anything else quite explains the results of the last election more than the move of the extreme left into the Democrat's mainstream, an event that I'm quite sure turned off more than a few voters. Which is why the Democrats will be committing political suicide should they decide to further embrace this extremism by putting Howard Dean in charge of the party.
