Unbelievable, and yet understandable at the same time.
RUPERT, Idaho (AP)—The Minidoka County School Board in southern Idaho has resolved to more strictly enforce dress code rules after some male teachers said they were reluctant to deal with underdressed students for fear of being accused of sexual harassment.
Acequia Elementary Principal Suzette Miller says some male teachers did not feel comfortable telling students to put on more clothes.
Personally, I blame the parents who let their daughters go to school so scantily clad that male teachers feel uncomfortable talking to them. I also blame the sort of parents who, instead of holding their daughters responsible for dressing in an inappropriate fashion, would sue a teacher for daring to tell them to put more clothes on.
