Interesting quote from Rep. Ron Kind (R - WI):

“What I find ironic with members of my own party is that they are quick to criticize President Bush’s tax cuts to the most wealthy,” Kind said. “But they’re loath to look at these commodity payments to millionaires under this farm bill.”

That’s pretty much in keeping with liberal doctrine, though.  They’d rather confiscate huge chunks of wealth from the people so that it can redistributed back to them than just let the people keep more of their own money.
