The time has come for me to share some news about this blog that has been brewing for some time now. I’ve mentioned in the past that I’ve been training for a new job, and posting here by me has slowed up significantly. The truth is that I’m making a big move in my life, and I’ve been busy settling up loose ends and figuring out what to do with this blog, which I won’t be able to keep up any more.
As many of you know, I was born in Alaska. I moved to North Dakota when I was very young, but have always pined for the land of my birth. Well an opportunity has come up that will allow me to move back home. I’m taking a job as a hunting guide based out of Fairbanks. It’ll be a year-round gig, and it will leave next to zero time for blogging.
But I didn’t want Say Anything to die, so I’ve sold it to my good friend and long-time contributor Whistler. He’ll be taking over editorial control and all of the front-page posting priveleges.
I’ll be posting for the rest of today, and may even contribute sporadically in the future, but for the most part this is a good bye.
So long, and thanks for all the good times.
