So Democrats, what happened to that vigorous first 100 hours of Congress you all were promising us?
The Donks took over Congress officially on Thursday...lets let them sleep in, so they got started at noon. Noon Thursday to Noon Sunday is, let me see here, 72 hours...its now a bit after midnight early Monday morning as this comes out, so 84 hours...only 16 hours left to get done the whole first 100 hours program. Only one problem, as Drudge reports, Congress won’t be in session on Monday, the 8th of January 2007.
And this after the Donks promised to have Congress work a five day work week.
My guess is that the Dems are going to get a lot less done this session of Congress, let alone the nearly-up first 100 hours, than they’ve promised.
And that’s just fine by me.
