Perhaps the most interesting aspect of ND politics this year will also be the most ignored.
The facts presented below, would be a great two minute breaking news story, but will never be broadcast on television or radio, neither of the leftist ranting radio red-heads (Joel Heitkamp and Ed Schultz) will mention, not a single reporter will write as single paragraph that will see the light of day in a newspaper, none of the state’s daily newspapers will mention any of this at least not until after the election.
Remember: this is what has been reported up until Oct. 24, 2008. Every election cycle, huge amounts of money will move from out of state to the ND Democrat Party, before the election without reporting (the public will never know until it is all over) and, as if they are clairvoyant, they will have bought all manner of website, television, radio, and newspaper advertising without enough money to pay for the adds at the time of purchase. They will pay long after the election for the advertising they bought when they could not pay for it but knowing that the wall of out-of-state money will arrive at the last minute (and who will be the wiser?).
Why have you not heard not seen any of this. The out-of-state money feeds the watch-dogs of public discourse - the ND Press! Never bite the hand that feed you. Is this deserving of the constitutional protections that these entities are given as the monitors of political propriety?
