Laura Bush visited the United Arab Emirates recently to promote breast cancer awareness.  Here’s a picture from her trip.

It seems to me that the oppression of women in the middle east is one of the reasons why we’re fighting in the middle east.  So when our national leaders go there (and the First Lady is a national leader of sorts) we should be refusing to accept this sort of treatment of women.
