Some interesting comments from the vocal anti-war Senator:
Senator Levin says he supports taking military action “on all fronts” against Syria and Iran, but what sort of action does that mean? Just the other day on Meet The Press Levin was saying that he supports bringing “most” of the troops in Iraq home as quickly as possible.
How then does Levin expect the military to secure the borders with Iran and Syria, and confront the problems the pose for Iraq, when he also expects to downsize the number of troops in Iraq to a bare-bones deployment?
This is just more confusing rhetoric from the Dems. They want to undermine the mission in Iraq and get out of that country as soon as possible, yet they also want to castigate the military for not confronting Iran and Syria.
Why anyone is expected to take people like Levin seriously on this issue is beyond me.
