It’s pretty cool to be nominated (those of you who did that, thanks!). The Weblog Awards, ran by Kevin Aylward of Wizbang, is pretty much the oldest blogosphere awards event on the internet. There’s a ton of participation from blogs big and small, media and non-media alike.
These are the folks I’m up against in the “Best Conservative Blog” category:
Being up against the likes Ed Morrisey, Michelle Malkin, the Newsbusters and the guys at Powerline pretty much means I’m not going to win. But having Say Anything as a finalist with those other blogs is an honor in and of itself.
I’ll let everyone know when voting begins so we can try to minimize the number of votes we lose by.
