What are they hiding?  Was Barack really born in Kenya and not Hawaii?  Is his real middle name Mohammed?  Is his real first name Barry?

Inquiring minds want to know what the campaign is hiding.

Having done some Obama-rumor debunking that got praise from Daily Kos (a sign of the apocalypse, no doubt), perhaps the Obama campaign could return the favor and help debunk a bunch of others with a simple step: Could they release a copy of his birth certificate?

Reporters have asked for it and been denied, and the state of Hawaii does not make such records public.

The campaign cited the birth certificate in their “Fact Check” on William Ayers, so presumably, someone in the campaign has access to it.

(Apparently the lack of birth certificate, which would state the time of birth on August 4, is driving the astrologers nuts, as they need his birth time to calculate… whatever it is they calculate.)

At one point the New York Times ran an article questioning John McCain’s status as a citizen eligible for the Presidency due to the fact that he was born on a US military base in Panama to two US citizens.  The McCain campaign was entirely forthcoming about the details of their candidate’s birth at the time.

Obama, however, refuses to release his birth certificate but you probably won’t hear a peep about that from the Times or any other major mainstream media source.

Because Barack Obama is the liberal messiah, and John McCain is just a stupid cracker Republican.
