The rumor is that the challengers to Kent Conrad and Earl Pomeroy will be announced by the NDGOP some time in the next week.

The names being tossed about right now are Rae Ann Kelsch, and Duane DeKrey and Drew Wrigley. Of course, it is all speculation at this point. Wrigley would seem to be an odd choice as he is right in the middle of handling the Dru Sjodin case and I'm told that he wants to finish that out.

But who knows. Hopefully we'll find out who the candidates are this week. Finally. As I've said before, if the NDGOP wants to re-take some seats in Congress they need to get their candidates out there and get a lot of energy behind them.
