Richard Pryor has died.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of his in that most of his work was before my time and I never spent much time following his career, but I do count a couple of his movies (Brewster's Millions foremost among them) among my favorites.

He was a talented guy, troubled as too many talented people are by personal demons, and he will be missed.
