Not only should she testify, she shouldn't be sitting on the panel in the first place.

From The Associated Press:

Eleven Republican senators called on former Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick to testify before the Sept. 11 commission on which she serves...

The senators did not ask her to step aside, but said she should testify under oath before the panel.

"It is our firm belief that any committee report or recommendations will be incomplete without public testimony by Ms. Gorelick about her activities while serving as Deputy Attorney General," the senators wrote in a letter sent Thursday to commission chairman Thomas Kean and vice chairman Lee Hamilton...

Kean, a Republican, has rejected calls for Gorelick to step aside. He said she is one of the hardest working panel members and noted she recused herself from parts of the probe involving her tenure.

It seems to me that there is an abundance of qualified people who would have been able to serve on the 9/11 Commission and wouldn't have had to recuse themselves from portions of the proceedings. Gorelick should have known this. She should have alerted her fellow commission members as to her involvement in the Justice Department's terror operations. The 9/11 Commissions findings are tainted because of Gorelick's involvement in them.

The fact that she didn't is tantamount to lying under oath. At least in this blogger's humble opinion it is. If you were a prosecutor, would you want a person on your jury who had worked for one of the defendants?

I didn't think so.
