WASHINGTON (AP) The official calendar of former State Department official Richard Armitage shows he met with Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward during a key period in the C-I-A leak case.
The calendar, provided to The Associated Press under the Freedom of Information Act, shows a one-hour meeting marked "private appointment" with Woodward on June 13th, 2003. That's during the period the reporter has testified an administration official talked to him about C-I-A employee Valerie Plame.
The Washington Post's Watergate-era editor Ben Bradlee was saying this back in March.
