We are still feeling the left's wrath over Jeff Gannon, a person despised because he harbored a right-wing bias and was allowed to ask questions in the White House press room. Yet one wonders how the left feels about journalists who harbor an inherent left-wing bias? Apparently they're fine with it because nobody asks any questions when Helen Thomas asks zingers like this one.

Thomas: Has the president ever issued an order against torture of prisoners? And do we still send prisoners to Syria to be tortured?

Nothing like the old "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" question.

So will Thomas' question be met with the same outrage from the left at bias in the press room as Gannon's original question was?

I'm guessing no as Thomas is on their side. Apparently left-biased journalists are legitimate while right-biased journalists are mere shills.
