I've been reading news and listening to reports about the Canadian terror plotters and every one of the refers to the matter as an "alleged" plot, and the plotters as "alleged" terrorists.

That's as it should be.

But it's interesting, given that the media has already concluded that the killings in Haditha were a "massacre" our troops are responsible for.

Apparently "innocent until proven guilty" is an ideal the media only engages in while talking about terror suspects.
