The guy just doesn’t get it.

Redistributing wealth from the most productive Americans to the least productive will do nothing to create jobs.  The people at the bottom of the tax bracket don’t employ other people.  The people at the top of the tax bracket (small business owners and the like) do, and taking from the top and giving to the bottom only ensures that the people at the top will hire fewer people.

As for regulation, it is a burden on the businesses that create the jobs and should be kept to a necessary minimum.  Every new or expanded regulation means more compliance costs for businesses.  And more compliance costs means less money to employ Americans.
