More evidence to suggest that Obama isn’t who he says he is today courtesy of a 1995 interview with the Chicago Observer.

He says that individual dreams and achievements aren’t significant, and that we must “unite in collective action” and build “collective organizations.” He also says some nasty things about Republicans and Christians, and suggests we stop calling pregnant teens irresponsible and start calling the society that creates those pregnant teens irresponsible.

Because we can’t just hold individuals responsible for the consequences of their own actions.  We must hold the collective responsible.  Which is fitting given that he wants to make society at large responsible for the health decisions of the individual through socialized medicine.

Oh, and by the way, he marched with racist black national Louis Farakhan.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about Obama’s barbs at Republicans and Christians.  What scares me is that this guy is an out-and-out socialist more concerned with making us all acted-upon victims than empowering us to be free and independent citizens.
