Yesterday Obama claimed that we’re in “the most serious financial crisis since the Great Depression.”

So how does that square with Obama’s $66 million campaign contribution haul from August?  Seems like there’s only two answers.  Either Obama is getting his money from ultra rich liberals who are beyond the impact of the current economic downturn, or else the average Americans contributing to his campaign really aren’t doing all that bad economically.

After all, if people are struggling to pay the bills they usually don’t shell out money to political campaigns.
