How can Obama tell us in one breath that he won’t negotiate with terror groups only to tell us in the next that he will negotiate with Iran?  Probably because Obama is drawing a politically-expedient distinction between terror groups and state sponsors of terrorism.

In terms of our foreign policy, though, what’s the difference?  If we reward those who use terror to further their agendas are we not rewarding terror as a tactic regardless of whether or not it was employed by a group like Hamas or a country like Iran?

Oh, and by the way, what are these “legitimate claims” of Hamas and Hezbollah that Obama is talking about?  It’d be interesting to see a reporter ask the messiah that question.
