Anyone else thinking that if the homeless expended as much effort as this article alleges they’re going to put into supporting Obama into knocking off the sloth and substance abuse that has made them homeless most of them would become self sufficient and not needful of the sort of welfare handouts Obama is offering?

Becoming politically active is one thing, but I’d rather see people working to make themselves independent than working to elect a politician because he promises lots of government goodies funded by other people’s taxes.
