This MSNBC report is about the ice cap disappearing at the north pole, something that is apparently creating havoc among the penguin population there. Except, there’s just one problem. The last time I checked (and I used to live pretty close to the arctic circle) there weren’t any penguins at the north pole.
The “expanses of water that weren’t there before” were actually never there at the North Pole. All 17 species of penguins live in the southern hemisphere.
Why would penguins make the long and rather warm journey across the equator to appear in an MS-NBC story about global warming?
Perhaps because it’s convenient for the sort of scientifically-illiterate global warming propaganda MSNBC is trying to spread?
